Shannon, You are an exceptional young woman in many ways. You are beautiful inside and out with an incredible smile which lights up a room. Very sorry you are having to go through this dark time. At 73 I have experienced many such times including the death of all my immediate family members, 2 divorces, devastating hurricanes, serious illnesses, etc. During such times I have always reflected on the wisdom my father imparted to me: He told me that no matter how bad things seem, "things can always get worse". His message was to not lose hope, but to hang in so you can look for any opportunity to make things better. He said if you give up you will lose any opportunity for things to improve. I look for comfort in music outdoor activities, my wife and daughter, and long time friends. Some of the most inspirational music I listen to often are from Pink Floyd ( "Coming Back to Life" , "Comfortably Numb", "On the turning away") and Dire Straits ( "Brothers in Arms", "Tunnel of Love"). Both David Gilmore (Pink Floyd) and Mark Nopfler (Dire Straits) are incredible guitar players who can truly reach your soul and there songs are very cathartic. Hang in there and love will find a way. I made a friend online with all of the chaos of covid. We were chatting on Omegle. He was in the Philippines and I'm in New Zealand. We both have an interest in astronomy. Anyway he was going through some difficult family issues as a teenager. I was able to encourage him to persevere. We became friends in Facebook. I think your video reflects that sometimes we might not feel we have much to give through struggles, exhaustion and self doubt. I think a really good verse from the Bible is 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, God can use the lessons we learn in trials to help others. In this we learn to love Him more and our neighbour as ourself.
