Absolutely love stuff like this, its cool seeing the cool cars but sometimes it’s easy to forget how much work and skill goes into the final result. This is perfect.
I loved this. One thing I could never understand is why so many sportscars have black interiors. They get so scolding hot in the summertime. I'd love to be able to visit some day. The down draft Countach is absolutely gorgeous. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.
Was privileged to have Rorky give us a workshop tour, the archive room, so so small BUT full of priceless archives!!! Team at Orourke are now good friends and have since been back several times.
The original seats of my 1972 Puma GTE are of great vintage design, chrome rings, unique padding style, would not mind you 'Zebra' them one bit. What a great job you guys must have , the pride you put into to this is next level.
When I was growing up, I spent a lot of time around a coachtrimmer. It's a lovely craft, all that beautiful leather. Sadly the glues and working conditions can be horrific - like so many crafts.
Damn, what an interesting video! I wish someone near me would do such a thing. I would take my uncle's Fiat 126p to give it an interior it never could have had in its time.
I'd love to do this as a job if I thought I would be good enough at it to pay the bills. Skills! I am about to attempt to retrim the centres of my 996 GT3 buckets... wish me luck!
@@OrourkeCoachtrimmers Thanks! I'm going to cut some high density foam to the right shape and make one set in tartan fabric and one in pepita/houndstooth. Hopefully it won't look a mess.
Currently looking for a good coach trimmer for my Rover. Trouble is I live in Portugal, so I'd have to ship the whole lot over if I'd let a specialist like O'Rourke do it, raising the retrim costs north of 6 grand.
In case you haven’t heard, my NEW Comedy Central special, “Jeff Dunham’s Completely Unrehearsed Last Minute Pandemic Holiday Special”, premieres the day after Thanksgiving! Yesterday Walter and I had some fun on KTLA in Los Angeles yapping about it with anchor, Dayna Devon. So check out the interview now, AND of course the special itself, on Black Friday, Nov. 27th, 8pm E&P, on Comedy Central! I like learning about the craftsmanship that goes into their work. Great video.
Thank you for visiting James, hopefully your audience enjoyed a quick glimpse of our workshop and some of the projects we get involved with.
Really cool video - nice relaxed style, no big egos and a great level of detail
Fantastic .... a pleasure to see real craftsmen at work 👍

Spend weeks looking through those boxes 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Extremely nerdy and I love it
Amazing craftsmanship!
From someone who has done a film there before - Rob is really rather un-pink! All the best from the German visitor years ago.
Great to hear from you, hope all is well!

Excellent, exactly what we need. Crack on!

'Don' touch that'.
Great video! Is that the Daytona that featured in the Top Gear film where Hammond raced May to Saint Tropez? It's a beautiful spec 👌
Not the same car, but both have a cracking spec, blue and tan really suit the Daytona in my opinion.

Good luck, 911 bucket seats are great to customise!
