There was a time I played a character that was, mechanically, a Beast Barbarian, but in fluff and flavor was actually an alchemist. His rages were the result of him slurping down vials of mutagenic serums and cocktails that he'd brewed
The Bishop hit me in particular as I love the idea of a holy rogue, and would love to see what you can come up with for a full subclass!
The bloody rogue sounds compelling to me, specially seeing how it was born from something with a "spooky" context like the phantom... either the bloody or the eldritch which also sounds like a good match for a dark rogue, take my vote for any of those two
I’ve got a player playing a shadar-kai phantom rogue in descent into avernus. He’s a noble of Baldur’s Gate that died and was brought back to life by the Raven Queen. Now he’s in Avernus helping the souls of the damned pass on to the Raven Queen’s realm.
A phantom rogue concept of mine is a warforged that looks and believes she is an enhanced super human soldier, and all her subclass abilities is her reading the memories of the recently dead and archiving or carrying their final requests
And my subclass request is an exorcist monk that's all about creating wards that protect or banish creatures and summon a spiritual familiar that act as guides or guardians
Maybe it's the fact my love of TTRPGs started with Vampire the Masquerade, but I've gotta go with The Bloody as the concept I'd love to see fleshed out more.
Really like the idea of an artificer that works in that macabre subset of mad science. The Fringe could be an awesome sub-class all it's own (probably all of them, but this is the one that spoke best to me).
I vote for the Monk themed rouge, because I love the picture of a rouge who can make many attacks, maybe by trading some sneak attack dice? I made a subclass of this, but it was pretty broken. When I think of a rouge, although I do think of precise, damaging strokes, I also think of a Wesley-like character, where they attack with overwhelming speed and number of hits. I know I can reflavour sneak attack as multiple hits, but a mechanic behind it would be nice, and frankly overdue. Plus, they could handle swarms better, attack many weaker monsters at once. Great job as always Ryker!
Someday I have to play a Kenku Phantom Rogue so they can have advantage and proficiency on any skill they channel. Of what you presented, I love the blending of artifice with PR.
The bloody would be my choice. I play in a game of dark fantasy where hemomancy and blood are a very central themes.

I played around with the idea of playing a Phantom rogue as a reflavor for an Ghostslayer blood hunter but due to time I haven't yet
I’ve been using the wails attack as more of a QuickDraw attack where I cub down the main target and those in range
I love the idea of the seed and i think it could expand into its own subclass really nicley
I just had an interesting idea: phantom rogue as a debt collector. For whom you may ask? Devils. As they can literally imprison souls into trinkets, having these be literal soul coins seems fair enough. They can work in good and evil campaigns alike, as those who sell their souls to devils tend to not be of the good kind.
Doing a session 0 tomorrow and I'll probably play a rogue. This idea sounds super cool! Definitely wrote it down as an option.
Is it just me, or did the Archivist concept give major Jonathan Sims vibes? Or maybe I've just been too hyped about the Magnus Archives TTRPG coming out soon
I'm working on a Wildshape based rogue. It's not nearly ready yet, though.
You only get a few Wildshapes, and have to pick the lines early on. And some lines have abilities instead of Wildshapes, because there isn't something appropriate at the CR.
Imagine someone petting a cat, then it scratches them and it's a sneak attack with a surprise round and a crit. Then they go again and sneak attack again and then hide in the couch pillows and can't be found to be hit.
This is the idea of the build.

I would vote for the Seed. That thing about growing stuff out of a corpse was crazy evocative, and I think totally unique among the ideas. I've seen so many blood mage and mad science takes on everything (not to knock em, I just wanna see other things too) and your druid-esque ideas seemed both simple and original to me.
I think the Bishop Rogue or the Seed Rogue might be best, as they have the most untapped potential.
I really liked the blood rogue because it just seems to fit and it so cool

What if you had a Phantom Rogue multiclass with Shadow Sorcerer? Go for kind of a psychopomp vibe, like the Kindred from League of Legends. In fact, that’s almost exactly like the Kindred if you use a bow. You’ve got your Shadow Hound as Wolf, while you play the part of Lamb.
Just remember if you rename a feature on your character sheet put the actual name as well it will be helpful to your dm and fellow players
