I use these pumps on my off grid house. One pumps up to solar evacuated tubes on a roof. Then another circulator that’s sends that heat through the radiant. These are amazing pumps
Several weeks ago installed one of these on my new Weil-McLain boiler with simple closed-loop 6-radiator system and this pump does indeed run absolutely silently, and cool. Now if it is as durable as the legendary 007 and lasts as long as they have, I'll be very happy.
We just had one installed 2 weeks ago. Happy with it so far. I have been in my house 22 years and seems like circulators are not built to last more than a few years. Hopefully this will last 4 or 5 years also.
We bought our home 3 years ago, it has a boiler and has the 007e pump, this winter the house is not as warm as before, I don't see any lights working on the pump, is that a good indication that the pump is either locked up or just not working?
The wife says at 1:45 ( my hearing's not so good) you say "so you'll never have to burp the circulator". Burping the circulator is new to me; guess I'll have to look it up. So how does this model do it; where does the air go?Also, can two of these, or any 007, be used in series?
That's what I like to know? From key experience most of these circulators have to be in install in a right matter to dissipate the heat. I frequently see "incorrect" installation which fails the pump do to over heating.
Today is Thanksgiving. Tenant had no heat. Arrived to find the LED flashing 2 orange followed by one green flash. What does this mean? Can't find it anywhere. The circulator was installed 2 months ago and was working fine up to this point. Had to replace the circulator with a 007-F5. Disappointed!
So I just installed one of these…..it seems to be functioning normally, however I am getting zero lighting. Like, it doesn’t light up at all. Is that normal?
what does one do if the power supply to the pump has a third ground wire?? the grundfos that I am replacing had a third spring clip port for the ground. the taco does not, nor does it have a green grounding screw. thanks
Hi, just purchased the 0015e3 for my parents. In operation for just over 1 week. I got a call from them telling me the LED light has been turned off. I am trying to get some solution for them. Can you please help us? What does the LED with no light mean? And what should they do? Thanks
To clean a Taco 007e High-Efficiency Circulator Pump, turn off the power and, if applicable, drain the hydronic heating system. Remove the pump housing with a wrench, inspect and clean the impeller for debris, and clean the pump chamber. Lubricate if necessary, reassemble, and test the pump's operation, checking for leaks. Follow manufacturer guidelines and consult a professional if uncertain.
I just had a Buderus boiler installed and I noticed these are the recirc pumps the plumber installed. So I know its summer and I wanted to check if I could get heat up to my two zones upstairs. So I set the thermostat to 80 to get zone 1 to operate. When I felt no heat out of the registers I went down and looked at the boiler. The Taco pump LED light was flashing back and forth between orange and white. I could not find on line the meaning of the code that the pump displayed. Anyone??
I have the same situation with light flashing alternatively between orange and white. I researched a bit online and some said it detects air and the white light indicates it's purging air out of the pump.
This specific pump only comes in cast iron casing but there are similar pumps with stainless steel and bronze options if you follow this link www.pexuniverse.com/circulator-pumps
We have a hydronic system with 2 zones valves, and a open loop to our garage ceiling mount, thermostatically controlled fan unit. On the paper work for the 007E it states not recommended for open loop systems. I have both the older style 007 and the 007E in hand. Its -10 outside and the old pump is rumbling. Should I not use the 007E in this system?
Had one of these installed almost a year ago...I don't think the installer knew how to do it, its never worked. Paid $5000 for a new radiator and this circulator pump to control one zone, the room is always at 60F. Been waiting two months for them to come back and fix the problem, will they ever show? Royally pissed!
I love these pumps. I just had a combi gas unit installed, zoned with these on 4 zones. Sadly, the contractor unnecessariliy plumbed in 4 check flows at $130 a piece... and the ICFs were just left in the boxes. Nonetheless, They're super quiet and the price I got was as cheap as it would have been to valve these zones. The pump controller is about 40 bucks more though. He could have talked even more about the serviceability.
FBC Amherst I love the 007 pumps, im installing 4 of on a job tomorrow. Hope they are as good as they claim. Since they have built in checks im not installing flow control valves, in my opinion flow control valves are better, plus they are not plastic. But 130 is a lot. You can get them for $50 a piece
One of these came with my Weil-Mclain 70,000 btu gas boiler, but the inlet side was 1 1/4" and outlet was 1". Supply and return on boiler are both 1 1/4", so I threw it out and installed a B&G. Disappointing.

That's good to hear. I don't see why it would be less durable, but I guess we'll see if it lasts in time.
3 years and my customers died he was not happy

Looks like you're install the flow check (IFV) backwards. Yes?
Correct!
Are the supply valves supposed to be on or off ?
can that pump can be install in any position??
thanks!
Horizomtal only. This means flow is vertical.

What was that about wiring to a battery?
What does it mean when it doesn’t come out of antifreeze mode?
I have the yellow light blinking about every 30 seconds, can’t find any info on that
how about a video of a pump in use, demonstrating the different modes
Hi, the light on the pump is red . What does that mean ?
If my caseing is upside-down should I turn it upside right

Can the pump work if you don't wire it? Had mine installed and I haven't seen the light come on on it
Great video just had two installed and was wondering what the lights were ...it was burping itself.. excuse me...😭😭😭😭
have one on my system, just started a vibration type hum-- no place to lube . Suggestions please It is 6 yrs old.
So I just installed one of these…..it seems to be functioning normally, however I am getting zero lighting. Like, it doesn’t light up at all. Is that normal?
I just got my pump along with my new boiler. There was no flow check inside the box. Now what?
what does one do if the power supply to the pump has a third ground wire?? the grundfos that I am replacing had a third spring clip port for the ground. the taco does not, nor does it have a green grounding screw. thanks
Because of new design, 007e do not require grounding. Cap unused ground wire with wire nut for protection.

Mine used to light green lately no light is on.
How do you clean this pump, mini seem to have a blockage

I just installed a Navien NCB 240e and ran 3 radiant floor loops 300 feet each loop. What model pump should I feed the radiant floor Manifold with?
What do you need to do if it blanks red and white and not enough heat is circulating?

What makes this more efficient than a refular 007
Battery?
This pump is perfect for a closed loop system. Is it also made in bronze and/or stainless steel for a potable water system?

The ecm 007 pump is the best
ive got one but it wont stop going in to air mode anyone know how to get the air out ?
You’d have to bleed that zone.
The most important information is missing, how many gallons a minute?
Have you seen where the paint or black coating inside the cast portion of the pump fails and can be scraped off with a fingernail?
My pump light is off the other 2 is on but the one that’s off no it heat is circulating in that room

Terrible
yeah my system has the new model Dunkirk Hydronic Boiler with the 007 pump. It doesn't work.
Great comment bro. Someone set your system up wrong (unless u are stating your unit is just defective and needs to be replaced)
I just had one installed. They installed it up side down. They say it is not a problem. Is it? Also no lights at all on.
Yes the motor HAS to be horizontal. Look up the instruction manual on it.
If no lights are on then it’s not working or not on
At 33 seconds you put the flow check in backward... This could confuse laypersons.
Can 007 replace the Taco 111-8 pump for a two family house?
We have this pump for a 4 zone, 3 level, 2800 sq ft house and so far works great. LED indicator is great bonus feature

Good price good move
Mines making all kinds of noise and blinking red to blue

All you needed was proper size flanges
Great pump, but the connectors suck.
