I live in Boulder, CO. Those homeless people don't look much worse than what we have here. Really this didn't look all that bad. I mean , it wasn't good, but much of it was what I expected to see in the Bronx. Working-class neighborhoods, lots of immigrants and people from all over, lots of homeless and some criminal-looking types. Nothing scary though, this video doesn't at all live up to it's title.

This part of the Bronx is not so bad compared to Kensington St in Philadelphia. If you want to do a daring video in the Bronx, go to Hunts Point after midnight. If you survive an hour, without being approached in some bad way, it will be a miracle. The odds are good that you'll lose your phone, money, sneakers (especially if they are good ones), and anything else of value, including your keys and ID -- they will then look up your address and do a robbery or home invasion while you are trying to get home barefooted without money. When they are done with you, all banged up and bruised, you will fit right in with the homeless, looking just like them, staggering in the dark, dazed and confused, trying to find your bearings, desperately trying to locate a pay phone that no longer exists. There will be no help. So come on, hero, let's see a really interesting video. Then you can rightfully say in the title of your story that "My life almost ended"
You didn't get it 😂. The title comes because of the sign hitting me, not because of the area. I can never understand why many people always choose to see something the wrong way.
