- Why do celebrities love to hide in Calabasas? If you live in California or have heard about the Hidden Hills then you probably know that it is prime LA real estate. But why? It's because Hidden Hills is home to many of the world’s favourite celebrities. It is notable for being one of "America's most powerful small cities".
There is a very long list of celebrities that have houses in Hidden Hills such as Lil Wayne, The Weeknd, Will Smith, Dwayne Wade, French Montana, Kris Jenner, and many more.

Have you been to Calabasas?
Yes!
Vicariously.😩😆
Yes. Nice little town with not much to do. I live in Northern California & we stop there on our road trips to LA,SD & Mexico
yes i have, sadly, only in my dreams, oh god my life is such a joke
Yes but not all the way into the Hidden hills.
I stopped at a shopping center, super market.
I know they had the best of the best in that market lol
I do Doordash and all those other food delivery apps. I deliver here quite often and around calabasas. These homes are ridiculous! I like to drive around a little bit after the delivery and just soak it all in and imagining how it would feel to live here one day. 🙂🙏🏻
same, love to hear other people do this as well
Manifest✨
Working around there, good thinking!
Keep doing that, that’s how u manifest the life you want
I bet it feels expensive to live there.. especially when California robs them for property taxes annually lol
Envy no one. Grow in your own life and be thankful for what you've got. Nice vid. Thx for sharing.
I love that statement and i hope u meant (without saying) to truly not be jealous or hating at all.
Let it be an inspiration. If u like this area and homes, strive for one of your own.
I like it
Yes it looks nice, but I'm grateful for what I have.
That's a fact!
One day I'll be able to choose whether I want to live in Calabasas or Hidden Hills! Speaking it into existence NOW!!!
Same
Ah materialism… the bane of human existence… you do that… one day I’ll be able to help others and positively impact as many lives as I want… your priorities are in the wrong place buddy
@@Killacam1992 dude we all have different goals. His isn’t wrong if that’s what he wants. Respect each individual’s journey my guy. Love yours btw.
@@kmonyx22123 yes it is.. it’s materialism.. which greed is the single source of all problems in humanity.. you’ll live in perpetual misery and contribute to the misery of humanity as a whole if greed and materialism is at the forefront of your priorities and selflessness, service to others and making a positive impact on the world is not… I’ve literally died before and was in a coma on life support for a week.. I’ve experienced the afterlife and saw the truth.. so choice is yours that’s why we have free will.. we’ll see how “great” your life is and how “great” you feel inside when you chase possessions your whole life.
@@Killacam1992 ya bro God bless you too
I work in all these exclusive neighborhoods from Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills, and Hidden Hills. Most of the homes in this Hidden Hills neighborhood are Ranch style Farm houses with some exceptions. Lil Wayne, Scott Disick, DeMar DeRozan, Kevin Durant, Kylie Jenner, Vin Scully(RIP), Ben Simmons, Jared Goff, and many others also live here. The nicest community I have seen is in Beverly Park.
exactly calabasas have some really expensive home but the most expensive home in california aren't there
What do you do
What about Montecito? Don’t orpa have a mansion there?
Never heard of this place until Kardashians became popular I assumed celebrities lived in Hollywood or Beverly Hills
Not anymore. The homes are not modern there and there are building restrictions that the new Hollywood folks don't like. Just tourists go there and maybe some old celebs lived there like Jack Nicholson, Oprah and Marlon Brando RIP.
also there are tour buses 24 hours per day driving around Malibu, Coldwater Canyon and Hollywood Hills. If you were a current celebrity would you want a tour bus in front of your house when you leave every morning?
Because it was a low class, hot as hell, dry hellhole. In the middle of nowhere. Real estate developers redid it and sold it as something else. It's still a sh*thole. Woudnt live there for anything. Jesus! Calabasas????😃🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Dr. Dre, NWA, and other rappers were living in Calabasas and Agoura Hills long before the Kardashians ever came along.
@@trevorthetherapist4200 Imagine you’re a celebrity male trying to sneak Taylor Rooks Into your home and you see a bus filled of tourists snapping photos?
It’s absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! I visited there a few years ago and was able to view a few condos I couldn’t afford. 😂
Calabasas is my spot. I've been visiting, staying, and recreating there since 2010. It's also the route that I take to Malibu via Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon Rd. I would LOVE to live there. But I'm otherwise blessed to be able to go there whenever I want to hang out.
I would give everything to be able to do that and actually enjoy myself and be depressed
My wife sold a house in this area, the freeway is very close to the entrance and can be quit annoying getting in and out of the gated community.
The nearby freeway makes it an unattractive place to live. One wrong turn and your on your way to Santa Barbara
Imagine the people who are indigenous to Calabasas area not getting a DIME for all of this "wealth" acquired from real estate on their ancestral and native lands.
That’s America as a whole
No one is stopping anyone from achieving success and you pouting won’t make their lives better..
cringe LOL fk those natives
@@carsonc4134 Depends on what you call success.
How does this not blow up?!?! This is extremely high quality content! Best of luck in your journey!
Thanks!
except a lot of the information is wrong
Lol.
Hard to believe some homes r 1.2 or 2 million.
The old houses i lived in in LA r now getting to be 1 million. Theyre pretty nicely kept up but its no way those Calabas homes cud be that low
@@koollee Totally agree and I was thinking the same thing.
That's because the info is wrong homes are much more expensive than that in this area. Also the reason celebs live here is because you can get way more house and land for the mon than in the Hollywood hills as well as more safety for a family.
Great video, keep up the good work
Thanks man!
I lived in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apt in Calabasas with my mom back in 1990. This is not the Calabasas I knew 😂
@@grasshopper2959 like Agoura. Cookie cutter tract house hell.
Like any nice place, it was gentrified, made to be the home of the elite.
Yeah, back then, it was just part of the 'hot as hell' Valley. Then all the black sports stars started moving in, then the rappers, and so on. From Calabasas, a lot of them want to move into Malibu.
calabasas and hidden hills are different
Awesome video. It looks like an absolutely beautiful place to live and raise a family. It's too bad it's full of pretentious celebrities.
Do u (and everyone who liked your comment) realise.. it sounds like youre hating.
U prolly dont even know them people lol
@@koollee I don't see the hate. I see someone hating on someone for stating facts.
Reminds me very much of Scottsdale Arizona where I grew up. Not particularly special, just a place where rich people go to be in a bubble. The Kardashians just brought attention to this particular haven.
I grew up in orange county in rancho santa Margarita next to coto de caza which is one of the wealthiest communities in America and I use to travel for work so I’ve seen pretty much the most uptight areas.. i don’t say that to brag cuz I think materialism is utterly pathetic but just for context on the areas I’ve grown up around and let me tell you when I was in Phoenix for a month I loved it and the Scottsdale area sooo much. I hiked the camelback mountains, checked out all the malls and shopping centers, trained at pro edge boxing and mma and was treated like family and fell in love with the place so I got to agree with you about that area. I loved it so much I’ve been thinking about moving there and my buddy lives in chandler so I wouldn’t be alone. Do you still live in Scottsdale?
Yes
Which part of Scottsdale did you grow up in?
Tbh this is better than Beverly Hills
The problem with BV is that is located all the way into the city. It might take one up to 45mins/1hr just to get to the freeway depending on your location and timing. 💡
Beverly Hills (even though I'm in Philadelphia) seems more like the "old money" with not so modern style like Calabasas
@@Batest212 Calabasas not modern. Cookie cutter homes for the most part. 💡
@@GruneD wtf? That’s an exaggeration
@@foxooo Calabasas is very much like South OC. Besides the larger $10M-$30M mansions everything else is very cookie cutter. Developer made homes. To each their own. We own in Woodland Hills for thus very reason. I dislike HOA’s. I like modern, and the freedom to do as I want 💡
Beautiful 👌 stunning spectacular very peaceful yet comes with all the amenities more over its a. Community life . Very nice thanks for sharing
Beautiful houses !!!! What a Blessing !!!!!
I am surprised how relatively inexpensive these homes are, considering it's Los Angeles.
it's far from the actual city especially when u consider how horrible traffic is in LA. But I do understand your point of view. Being near all those celebs i'd think every home would start at least at 7 million.
these are cheaper than Bangalore outskirts WTF ??!
I actually am too 🤔
Go on zillow look for yourself it's wayyyy more
Don't believe these estimates. Put another 2 to 3 million on the top of these estimates.
One can ONLY think of the property tax !
Good Vid subed!
You said, "Kim and Kanye spent millions renovating their home." The least you could've done was to show the real interior pictures of the house lol
How bad did u need to see inside their home? Lol
You a groupie

Tom and Beverly Voiss owned Saddle Creek Ranch in Calabasas mountains before all these houses were there
Crazy how such a beautiful place can be plagued with such dark, deceptive and destructive human beings

Wow those houses are so beautiful
So, basically, base housing and schools and gym...like on military bases, but civilian style and celebrities.
Hidden hills and Calabasas are two very different cities in the same area. One has a mall, the other has horses. Hidden hills has very few celebrities and 99% of the imagery in this video is neither hidden hills or Calabasas
I was going to say the same thing. Not a resident but do know people in Hidden Hills and Calabasas.
Actually you are wrong. I work in all these neighborhoods including this one in the video. Kim, Kylie, and Kris all have homes in Hidden Hills. Scott Disick, Kevin Durant, Lil Wayne, French Montana, Madonna, Jared Goff, DeMar DeRozan, Dwayne Wade, Vin Scully, Ben Simmons, and a host of other athletes and entertainers also live here.
@@Camelotskin nas crib just got robbed in that neighborhood
@@moneyonfleek305 Yeah Calabasas. Everybody is getting robbed in all the affluent areas.
Didn’t Kylie move from hidden hills and the Kardashians live in calabasas only now?
Calabasas and Hidden Hills get hotter than hell.
So confusing how some of these homes are 1.1-2 million. In my neighborhood homes are going for $800,000-$1,000,000 and they’re nowhere near as nice as these homes. Or as big. I knew the housing market was inflated where i live but i didn’t know it was this bad..
Prices always inflate wherever there is a lot of demand. There must be a lot of people wanting homes in your neighbourhood therefore pushing prices up
Where do you live sounds pretty expensive.
All houses on my street selling for $3M plus 💡
@@huwdavies-tallon3305 Studio City
You must live in south florida. I’m in Palm beach county. Bought my home for $500,000 currently valued at $950,000 with no work done. Mega neighborhood being built across the street prices starting at $1.5 M
I love Calabasas, but not because of celebrities. I grew up there as a young child, that’s why I love it
It's in an especially warm part of the valley. When it's 70 in the LA basin, it's 100 in Calabasas
The kids at school there "My house is way better than yours cause yours was only 25 million mine was 40 million plus I have an indoor and outdoor pool".
These some beautiful 😍 houses 🏘
Wow these celebs got a deal on their homes, they are worth nearly double now
"For this life I cannot change, HIDDEN HILLS, deep off in the maze, M&Ms"💯
Close to the beach?? lol i live in LA and theres no house close to the beach in calabasas or Hidden Hills. The closest beach is malibu which is like 10-15miles away.
I feel like these home prices aren’t accurate because a townhouse in my neighborhood in NorCal is 750k
Definitely not accurate
Beautiful
"What's a point of being Rich" is that line from one of Kanye Songs😆
The dark secrets in there must be crazy.
Sheesh, pretty fancy place! =)
Those first scenes are Yorba Linda lol
im moving there once I win the lottery
When is that lol
And im gonna be your Butler and driver lol
David Hasselhoff lives in Calabasas
Apparently it’s not hidden too well.
They forgot to mention Lena the Slug lives there too.
I’d still rather buy a mansion near Newport Beach but calabassas is nice too
Because it’s TREMENDOUSLY cheaper than Bel Air or Beverly Hills. You couldn’t even buy an empty lot in Bel Air or Beverly Hills for what the house prices are in Hidden Hills or Calabasas Also the quality of home is much much cheaper than the forementioned.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Also Hidden Hills & Calabasas are just so far away from everything. If you wanna do some shopping or eat a nice restaurant on Rodeo Drive from Beverly Hills or Bel Air it’ll only take you about 5 to 10 minutes. BUT Hidden Hills & Calabasas are 25 miles away.
My uncle lives there across from Katherine Jackson’s house. The whole street is shut down when family members go there.
Yeah i used to live in woodland hills area which is minutes from calabassas. Ill live there if money is no object
I worked security for Kim and Kanye at their Hidden Hills Estate for their white winter wonderland party.

Lot of the drone video is Yorba Linda not Calabasas
The Oaks is easily the nicest neighborhood
TMZ bus driver should go Rogue and ram through the gate so the passenger’s actually have a chance to see the celebrity’s they want to see.
Priv-acy?? Not Pri-vacy?? Never heard that one
Given the luxury, privacy, security, and all superb amenities 2.5 million dollars sounds relatively cheap. Compare the housing prices with Los Angeles and New York.
In NYC premium luxury penthouses are known to cost upward of 80 million dollars.
Watched this even tho I live here lol still interesting

What you do for a living?
How come I did not look here when I was buying my house? Maybe because I could not afford to buy even the garage in one of these homes.
Boohoo lol
I think I'm fine here in Mississippi on my 3 acres.. 255k house with 2300 square feet..
They aint doing anything I can't do..
It's partially about the networking, for new jobs, new opportunities, and social connections for their kids. The Calabasas kids may be average IQ but have better chances in life due to connections.

Lol a lot of the footage in this video is of the Hidden Hills neighborhood of Yorba Linda.
Does a celeb buy a home like that and then actually live there? Or are they just stay a night once and awhile?
Depends on how much they are working
Some of the biggest criminals live there.
literally
I’m sure it used to be a nice small town
I am looking at properties in the Hidden Hills...
Several of the celebrities shown don't live in Calabasas or even LA County. Jessica Alba's home is in Malibu and Prince Harry and Meghan live in Montecito (Santa Barbara area).
Many of them have multiple estates
Lisa Marie lived in Calabasas when she died.

🤔I would be very curious to know if any of the residents of this posh neighborhood are suffering health effects due to the fallout from the Santa Susana Field Laboratory nuclear disaster. Pretty sure the half-life on those sorts of environmental toxins is a very, very long time...
There seem to be a lot of nice neighborhoods in CA that have a dirty little secret in the form of environmental toxins.
That’s exactly right. I know two families raised in Northridge who are riddled with cancer.

Hidden hills
this may be a foolish question but "how can a town be gated" 🙄 #richpeople
Hello Debbie 👋
Nicki Minaj lives in Calabasas
Most celebs buy homes here because they cant afford Beverly Hills and Malibu.
hidden hills is the most expensive neighborhood in LA but yeah Calabasas as a whole is pretty shit
If you can afford to live in hidden hills just cause you’re favorite celeb or in general live here 1 they sometimes arent home and wont see them 2 they like privacy so you rarely see them outside and when you do there driving out the community
Interesting..
They all go to West or Woodland Hills to run errands. Even those who live in Calabasas. UCLA’s mens basketball coach was at the BMW dealer getting coffee.
A lot of your drone footage is of Hidden Hills, Yorba Linda, CA. Not Hidden Hills, Calabasas…
im buying a house in calabasas tomorrow, it's pretty close to Justin Bieber
sounds like id have horrible whiny neighbors
I mean personally I wouldn't live in a gigantic house for me and my child but to each there own, yeh some bring their whole family along but some live in them for the sake of it

Very beautiful to look at, however, I would not want to live in any of those houses. I enjoy my plain ordinary life. When you think about the responsibility of the upkeep. You have to pay housekeepers, cooks, pool cleaners, lawn care, etc to keep it looking good. Then hire staff to make sure everything is running well. Seems like a headache to me.
Not when you have a good manager lol.
But you have to remember. Money doesn’t matter to these ppl. They can easily spend all that money for the upkeep lol
