Thank you! Cells can happen by mixing different brands of paint, even different paint densities and layering can cause cells. House paint can also cause pearl like cells. It's all about experimenting!

These were a mix of various leftover paints (and probably different brands) so I can't say for sure, I'm sorry! But when I see great colours in someone else's paintings, I just try and match them as close as possible and it always turns out quite well 😃😃

Hi Lisa, for this pour I used cheap house paint for the base, and if I recall the colors were mixed with only water, to a very thin consistency. I find that the more expensive brands (e.g. Amsterdam) perform better with just water whereas craft paints seem to 'break' as the binders are inferior.
