- In today's video we had a suggestion to eat at Los Magueyes in Wildwood, FL which is near The Villages, FL. There are several locations around and we have been to the one located in Inverness, but not Wildwood. We like going to Los Magueyes Mexican Restaurant and wanted to show what it has to offer. There margaritas and queso dip are really good!
Who enjoys the taste of cilantro and who thinks it tastes like soap?
We like this restaurant, thank you for the suggestion. If you’re near Lost Magueyes in Wildwood, Florida make sure to stop by!
Stay tuned for another video coming soon. Thanks so much for watching! God Bless!!!

Can’t go wrong there!
Very true!
The Ocala one is right around the corner from us!
That bowl with the queso is a US Navy officers wardroom dish!
Their Enchiladas Verdes are great, you get 4 of them, no rice or beans, but a great dish you can share.
It seems like they do have several locations around. We have always enjoyed the meal!
Dove definitely tastes soapy, not sure about cilantro. 🤔 🤣🤣 👍🇬🇧

Our favorite Mexican restaurant hands down! You have to try the shrimp chimichanga next time. Split it, as there are two on the plate.
It’s so good! We will have to try that. Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
I have heard that how one taste cilantro is actually genetic. Some perceive the flavor as good, while others perceive the taste as soap.
Don't know how true that is but I'm glad that I good the 'good' cilantro gene :)
Great info! We are also thankful for the good cilantro gene 😀! Thanks for watching!
Suggestion … possibly do some more breakfast places. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestion! Will do!
Skyline chili
We will try it for sure!
The restaurant name is pronounced: Mag gway es, if you say the middle part with the g, then it’ll sound just like you see the name on the building 👍
Thanks for letting us know! That is a big help 😀. We appreciate it!
It’s pronounced ma gay yes
Soap
Interesting! Thanks for sharing 😀
I call it “my guys.” Don’t speak a word of Spanish. Other locations in Beverly Hills and Crystal River.
BTW, the city of Inverness is pronounced IN ver ness
We have seen other locations too and been to a couple of them! Yeah we lived there for a while and after living there, it seems people pronounce it a couple different ways.
I can not stand cilantro. (Cilantro-haters for whom the plant tastes like soap, the issue is genetic. These people have a variation in a group of olfactory-receptor genes that allows them to strongly perceive the soapy-flavored aldehydes in cilantro leaves. Some studies showing that nearly 20% of the population experiences soapy-tasting cilantro.)
Wow thanks for this info! That’s very interesting. Thanks for watching!
