Hi Jaci. I live on Nantucket, and the best time to come here is in September. Everything is open, beautiful weather, not as crowded as in summer, you can still swim, we have the most beautiful beaches. There's also an INCREDIBLE Thrift Shop here, the Hospital Thrift Shop, (downtown on India Street) and everything in the shop is very cheap and affordable. You have to come here for 3-5 days minimum!
Nantucket is the most special place on earth🤍 it makes me so happy seeing people go for the best time and loving it and appreciating it 🥺 loved this vlog

You aren’t kidding about thrift store prices in California. You can still find cheap things, just not at Goodwill AT ALL! They are straight up more expensive than Marshall’s. I do think it’s that we are aware of brands and value. For example, my mom found this vintage Ralph Lauren jacket at a thrift store in Maryland for $25. She kept asking “are you sure?” To the point that the cashier started to pick up on that it could be worth more. Anyway, she ended up reselling it at a flea market in LA for $600 a few months later and the guy that bought it literally said it was a steal… little did he know 😬😬😬😬
jaci i grew up / still live on the cape! loved seeing you experience places right down the road from me. i tried leaving you a few comments but next time you go, go to Jomamas in the town Orleans (it’s a bagel shop) but they have THE BEST chai latte i know you will be obsessed. literally tastes like the creamiest sugar cookie milk. get their spiced chai with oat milk (iced obviously)… it’s iconic. also def come back in the summer, it’s even better (aside from the amount of people lol!) love u 💗
