My dad , who I have lost, adored Eddie Murphy called him the best comedian that ever lived , adored him made my dad laugh like nobody else , pop , Eddie still making people laugh , miss you.
Dad was right. Eddie Murphy was one of the greatest comedians of our generation..(Gen X) many comedians strived to be like him and even emulate him.. in fact most of his fans could quote his entire monologues back then lol
I'm old because I remember all these in real time. 😂😂😂😂😂 I was introduced to Eddie Murphy as a Not-Ready-For-Primetime-Player. I remember being sad as a kid when he left SNL but then all of a sudden he was EVERYWHERE.
Sometimes narrating does ruin these types of videos. I didn't mind this one being narrated. Its only when they show seconds or allow none of the original audio.
Why does the narrator have to explain how successful are the people that Eddie Murphy imitated? It’s like explaining who Stevie Wonder was in the 70s to a mentally challenged person.
Mad to see Giancarlo Esposito as a young man in trading places, must have been a hardworking 40 year journey to finally be recognised as an amazing talent in the film and gaming industry.
Loved Tracy Morgan, Richard Pryor, Elvis Presley and Bill Cosby. Eddie is still a master and a joy to hear, watch in a movie, etc!!! Have enjoyed him since SNL (yeah, that long)!😆🤣😁
It is easy to forget how great he is at impressions. I had this video playing and walked out of the room. I could hear the Tracey Morgan impression and without the video it is nearly impossible to not think it is Morgan.
Well, we did a little pretty good, but it came out perfect. But ey, I explained it, ey. Everybody don't know nothing, ey, I know everything, hahaha, explained everything. I don't have to know nothing, I already knew.
One of my favorite SNL moments of all time was Eddie doing Stevie Wonder IN FRONT OF STEVIE WONDER! Aside from that, I was in junior high when he was doing James Brown. ERRYBODY had their impression of Eddie doing the James Brown Hot Tub scene.
Jackie Gleason and his brother, Charlie Murphy, are my 2 favorite impressions of Eddie's. Though that Tracey Morgan is spot-on! Eddie is such a gifted comedian and storyteller!
During his SNL days, apart from Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood, there was not much ever on television that was funnier than James Brown's Celebrity Hot Tub Party. Both still make me howl with laughter!
He always teases that he is coming back to stand-up. I hope he does. That acceptance speech proves he's still got it. He just naturally dropped into it and ran with it and everyone loved it.
Don't sleep on that Elvis impression. I've heard a lot impersonators do Presley back in the 70's. All sounded like Cartoon Network's Johnny Bravo (whose voice is modeled after Elvis). However, Eddies was heads-above-shoulder perfect.
I was really enjoying this video but wasn't prepared for his James Brown...i laughed so much that i got bellyache. In France we are lucky to have an excellent dubbing for him in his prime, including the iconic laugh. But the original is incredible. I have watched Raw with subtitles (necessary!) and I rarely had so much fun.
No one touches Murphy. Even his laugh is iconic.
Jay Pharoah does a better Eddie than Eddie.
@@jeffreym.8957That Makes No Sense...How Can U Voice A Person's Voice Better Than The Person That Has The Voice?
Eddie is getting older so his laugh is a bit off but off tone wise but since Jay Pharaoh is younger than him it still sounds Ironic Eddie Murphy
😂❤👍 the Best comedian I had tears laughing at his jokes at his impression
The best impressionist so far is JAY PHAROAH hands down
His bill Cosby impersonation always has me in stitches!
He had that down pat
@@keithroberts4952 lmao..YES..
You can't say Filth Flarn Filth..
I need money for a Tucket!!
My favourite bit is the SNL monologue where, as Bill Cosby, he says "who is America's dad now".
His Tracey Morgan impression was perfect!
It is literally my favorite impression of his. It's so perfect!
Tracy had to have loved that - he was inspired by Eddie
Oh yeah, that was definitely a classic too! 😮😂
It's so good that I didn't hear him say it was Tracy Morgan but still knew instantly.
His impression of his brother Charlie Murphy is perfect
I swear that was my first thought
Its like he grew up around him.
His Richard Pryor impersonation is so perfect that if I only heard the audio I would never know it was Eddie.
Honestly it's one of the best impersonations I've ever seen, even though I looked at him I couldn't believe how well he nailed it
It’s so good, it’s uncanny.
SAME thing I was thinking. I only listen to old Richard Pryor albums/ recordings and would have thought that was him for real!! 😂
I liked it too. He does a Great Jackie Gleason impersonation too. Ralf from the honeymooners. It’s awesome

I sure hope that your late pops is still laughing at Eddie in heaven
He can do the impressions with the most mundane lines and elevate it to art. A true master with a real sense of humour.
The best Tracey Morgan impression. I love both of them ❤
Eddie's james brown is flawless.
Hot tub
HAH!
With the sweat too 😂😂😂😂
And he can sing also. The man is multi talented.
That’s why he’s so good at impressions. Because he’s a musician. He has a musical ear and can hear the different inflections, tones and accents.
Celebrity Hot Tub on SNL had me in tears. I fell outta my chair laughing.
Has been making me laugh and smile for 40 years
His richard pryor had me. Lmmfao for 5 minutes.
I love all of Eddie Murphy impressions . He is the greatest.
I'm old because I remember all these in real time. 😂😂😂😂😂 I was introduced to Eddie Murphy as a Not-Ready-For-Primetime-Player. I remember being sad as a kid when he left SNL but then all of a sudden he was EVERYWHERE.
I love him impersonating his brother. Rest easy Charlie Murphy.
Eddie Murphy's the king of impression (voices)
Nobody can do James Brown like Eddie Murphy except for James Brown !!!!!!
His Italian impression.. always cracked me up.
And the moolie s gonna pay
@@ppvk2610 Aye Paisano.. you going to see Rocky?

His Tracy Morgan impression was best
Eddie's impression of Bill Cosby has always been the best out there, and nothing short of a real treat.
Eddie Murphy is the comedy legend of impressions it's golden Tracy Morgan Impression was the one that made me laugh!!!
His Richard Pryor impersonation should be number 1
It's because 90% of the people watching forgot who r prior is.
Your rite though
Richard Pryor was spot on
His Charlie Murphy impression is perfect and one of his funniest.
What a legend. Always loved Eddie. He managed to cuss so perfectly that it wasn’t offensive 😆
It was WILDLY offensive. You just grew up with it.
No need to narrate this. It ruins it.

The bleeping too.
I need one more stand up performance from Eddie and my life will be complete
Same
Stand up comedian, Actor, Singer, impressionist. Eddie has done it all.
Yo that Mike Tyson 😂🔥
I say the Richard Pryor impression! Godt damn🤣
On point👌
Mad to see Giancarlo Esposito as a young man in trading places, must have been a hardworking 40 year journey to finally be recognised as an amazing talent in the film and gaming industry.
Nevertheless even if he didn't got there...
Still 40 years in the bizz
That's respectable...
Still more achieved then many seekers
Check him out in ‘Do The Right Thing.’
I watched it again a couple weeks ago. Amazing. Giancarlo is very underrated.
The SNL skit he did buckwheats been shot was hillarious😂
Best comedian of all time, and still miles ahead of the rest. He can put any room in tears.
Love Eddie, miss Charlie. Love his Tracy Morgan impression.
The ultimate comedian and my all time favorite!
The Elvis impression was spooky, damn, close your eyes its him. Eddie's my all time fav.
Loved Tracy Morgan, Richard Pryor, Elvis Presley and Bill Cosby. Eddie is still a master and a joy to hear, watch in a movie, etc!!! Have enjoyed him since SNL (yeah, that long)!😆🤣😁
Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx and Aries Spears are the best impressionist of all time.
Jay pharaoh is pretty good too
Godfrey is up there too.
@@raidenkeify you are absolutely right Pharaoh is the very best.

WHO forgot? Eddie has ALWAYS been one of the impression GOATS
I find it amusing the narrator has to explain who Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson are…
who are they?
Well, we did a little pretty good, but it came out perfect. But ey, I explained it, ey. Everybody don't know nothing, ey, I know everything, hahaha, explained everything. I don't have to know nothing, I already knew.
Literally nobody forgot. He was and is the king of impressions.
Before all of this, Eddie Murphy is actually a good singer. Dude is awesome! ❤
He's got some nice reggae tunes
His Mr. T was perfect. And that iconic laugh.😅
Best comedian of all time, he can play every role.
That Richard Pryor is Spot on 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Eddie the Goat.
If you havent seen RAW...watch it immediately...his old school stand up is unmatched.
NO NARRATION NEEDED. Why do you feel the need to speak over such greatness.
Then don't watch it. Watch another clip where it DOESN'T have it.
One of my favorite SNL moments of all time was Eddie doing Stevie Wonder IN FRONT OF STEVIE WONDER!

If my eyes were closed I'd think that Richard Pryor was on screen in front of me
I love the James Brown impression at the end.😂😂
His impression of his brother Charlie Murphy is hands down the best one.
i dont think anybody forgot how good his impressions are…
Eddie Murphy is the real master impressionist ever...his greatest impression was when he did an impression of his late brother Charlie Murphy.
Eddies impersonation of Bill Cosby is awesome !!
Eddie Murphy's impression of Buckwheat is the best! I totally thought it was really Buckwheat!
Eddie is the man. For me I think he nailed Pryor, Elvis, Morgan, and Cosby, but they were all hilarious
48 hours, Beverly hills cop, Eddie Murphy is a legend, period!
Period is what women go through every month, you mean FULL STOP
Eddie Murphy - awesome entertainer - love him and never fails to make me laugh!
He is for sure in the TOP 3 comedians of all times hand down
My favorite is his imitation of Richard Pryor, telling himself to tell Bill Cosby to "have a Coke and a smile and stfu".
A comedic genius plain and simple
Dude eddie murphy is a legend HILARIOUS BRO!!!! Him and his brother
All of them, true king👏👏👏👏
The Richard Pryor one should have been number one. Tracy Morgan number two. Both super spot on
Mr. Robinsons Neighborhood....Little Richard Simmons laughing just thinking about it!
I actually DID forget how damn good he is at that. His Richard Pryor is fkn spot-on
eddy doing Michael jackson talking about bubbles being aggressive is one of his best ever
During his SNL days, apart from Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood, there was not much ever on television that was funnier than James Brown's Celebrity Hot Tub Party. Both still make me howl with laughter!
The Bill Cosby was unexpected and perfect 😂😂😂. Followed by the Tracy Morgan
This Richard Prior impression was spot on and the funniest one in this compilation to me.
Ah man I miscalculated James Brown impression won me over 🤣👌

Just watched Delicious for the first time. Eddie Murphy is hilarious and extremely talented.
Omg that Pryor.... 😂😂😂
This video is fire!
Everything that Eddie does is amazing and beyond funny. Yet!!!! That Bill Cosby is purely off the chain.
Talent beyond time
Tracey Morgan is #1 for me. The closest & best one 🙌
The Richard Pryor impression was very good.
Eddie is a legend...
Wanted to see him Impersonating his brother but those were Kool
His Bill Cosby impression is literally the best
His Rodney Dangerfield impression is incredible.
0:33 The Comedian and star of the original Dolemite movies is Rudy Ray Moore.
His Richard Pryor impression is impeccable
The key to doing an impression is to overdo it. If they move their hand somewhat, you really make it obvious with the hand gestures.
