Yes this is what Kate also is capable of. The song is further carried by the vocalisations of the Bulgarian Trio Bulgarka and the magnificant David Gilmour on electric guitar. I loved your instant reaction and the fact you kept your enthousiasm going on throughout the song. 👍
@@gabe.absolute hi Gabe, thank you for your respond. Another great track by Kate Bush, not often or maybe never reacted to, is Big Stripey Lie. You'll hear Kate strumming the electric guitar and bass on that one. According to rumour she had never played an electric guitar before and borrowed one from a bandmember to practice at home. A few days later this song was recorded. If you decide to take a listen, enjoy!
@@j.k.1963 Pull out the pin special back up vocals and of course a deep dive into the Kate Bush Universe... She's a true gift for mankind... Gabe would love it
@@ap8eioul1 Pull Out The Pin is like most of the other tracks on that album standing in each others shadow . All amazing songs that push each other out of the way, so to speak. But when zooming in on this track, I really enjoy it so much! Another album of hers with the same issue, to me is The Red Shoes. But I do love The Dreaming as an album! It just took so me much time to have it become appreciated as much as it does and deserves.
This song is such a powerful ride, and I think that's what she intended it to be. It feels like you are flying with a host of witches right up until the final explosive climax, when Kate is screaming " on Fire! fire! fire"
I love your comment, it is like a host of witches right up into the sky, like a final explosive climax. Every time I listen to this song and watch people's reactions to it, I get caught up. I want to write a poem inspired by this song, but I feel I could never do justice with my poem with this masterpiece. I love Kate Bush and have been a fan of hers forever.
Ha, I just suggested this song in the comment section of a different Kate reaction, and damn - I'm sooooo seriously impressed and happy that you already listened/reacted! This album wasn't a favorite back in the day among Kate fans, but I've always loved it. I dig your open mind! Have you tackled "The Dreaming" yet? Another obscure album of hers. The track "Get Out Of My House" is crazy polarizing even among hardcore Kate fans. Would be curious to hear what you think!
Definitely down to listen and react to both of these songs. You should definitely check out on my channel the playlist that has all my reactions to her. Happy to hear from you and thank you so much for watching

It was David Gilmour ( Pink Floyd) who discovered her when she was only 13, she had by that time already starting writting " The man with the child in his eye's" which she actually started when she was 12. How that is even possible is beyond me !! She's completely and totally unique, and an absolute genius for sure.
She was actually considered a musical genius at a very young age , she did after all write over 200 songs before she was 17 including "The man with the child in his eye's"
Kate is IMO the best artists ever. Maybe try ‘Sunset’ and ‘Waking the Witch’ next. P.S Just saw your Stranger Things posters! I’m a big fan too. Cant wait for the new season!
Loooove your reaction, man! One of Kate's finest moments (of which there are many). Combining her voice, lyrics, and melody with The Trio Bulgarka and David Gilmour's guitar is soooo fucking cool!
This is David Gilmour on guitar. Eric has played with Kate though on the song “And So Is Love”. Edit: Just re-read your comment and I realized that I misread your comment. You weren’t saying that Gilmour was on guitar, you were saying that Eric is on “And So Is Love”. Whoops. Gabe you definitely should react to “And So Is Love” though as well as “Moments Of Pleasure”.

That November night, looking up into the sky
You said, "Hey, wish that was me up there
It's the biggest rocket I could find
And it's holding the night in its arms
If only for a moment
I can't see the look in its eyes
But I'm sure it must be laughing
But it seemed to me the saddest thing I'd ever seen
And I thought you were crazy, wishing such a thing
I saw only a stick on fire
Alone on its journey
Home to the quickening ground
With no one there to catch it
I put on my pointed hat
And my black and silver suit
And I check my gunpowder pack
And I strap the stick on my back
And, dressed as a rocket on Waterloo Bridge
Nobody seems to see me
Then, with the fuse in my hand
And now shooting into the night
And still as a rocket
I land in the river
Was it me said you were crazy?
I put on my cloudiest suit
Size five lightning boots, too
'Cause I am a rocket
On fire
Look at me go, with my tail on fire
With my tail on fire
On fire
Hey, look at me go, look at me...
