The way creatures kill the scientists is actually pretty damn brutal, but they shouldn't have made it ragdoll physics when YOU kill them, it makes it too tempting to shoot them instead and watch them fly 😂

5:31 I love what they did with the map in remake, more pictures of showing locations with different routes, and I particularly loving the Bosses headshots, instead of just names in original.

The map is done fine, but the character animation is terrible. While running, the legs pass through the cloak.
And even when a character dies, he is buggy and instead of falling, he stands stupidly.

Simon definitely had the most creative scientist kills in this game, from Gorilla Press Slamming them off bridges, onto the agents, punting for the field goal and giving them the Virtua Fighter P,P,P combo

It should be clarified that Dr Curien did not die, he was only seriously injured, later he becomes The Wheel of Fate
He was resurrected
Scarlet Dawn further confirmed his death with a tombstone dedicated to him and Goldman in the last stage.
He was resurrected in 2019 most likely Thornheart took his body and repurposed him into Wheel of Fate. Scarlet Dawn took place in 2006.

Curion plays his specialy designed shitty music to enrage the creatures and make them attack people. After you beat the magician you shoot his tape player and all the zombies are peaceful.
I still remember that the first house of the dead had character selection mode where u could change urself from Reagen to G or even other characters like one scientist with a gun.

5:15. Game Over
I've seen a lot of people shit on the new soundtrack but it's actually not that bad but a few do obviously spoil the bunch.
In terms of stage themes the biggest sinner is stage 2. The new stage end and game over themes are meeh and not as iconic.
The boss theme is just ok though it's difficult to hear it because sounds like your gun or "reload" muffle it.
The Magician theme is just.. a tragedy. Like ya sit down and listen to it and you can just *feel* that they wanted to do the Magician's theme but they just weren't allowed.
This is because FE couldn't get the rights to the original music itself.

The logic of being killed by zombies on HOTD Remake just makes very less sense like the researchers being punched, pawed (or paw punched) by a monkey, scratched, kicked, thrown at the player just instantly kills them and yet it would've taken more than just that to kill em. But being thrown off a bridge, impaled by a long scratch claw, being axed, being lashed/thrusted by a chainsaw, being bitten by the neck or anywhere else would've killed them in an instant for sure

saving those scientists civilians is a pain in the ass as all it takes is a misshot or a slow moment of hesitation on aiming since they die in only 1 hit. but getting the armory & the extra weapons makes this a hassle worth trying but it's all in trail & error. 😐

They should have actually called this a demake, a game from 1998 had a visual style - they wasted it, it had good death animations - they replaced it with janky ragdoll, it had good looking smooth animations - they made cartoonish jerky trash, they managed to make models that look worse than 20 year old ones, they pooped on the soundtrack, they didn't put effort into effects, they made human characters look uglier than models that had less than 1000 polygons for an entire model... I mean, it must have taken conscious effort to make an old game look worse with modern technologies on your hands.
