I will wait 5 more years for a possibility that they do a 10 year Discoveries anniversary tour with Adrian just once and play the complete album front to back. I will easily fly down to America for it. It sucks that I only got into this band in 2015 when Node came out; although I dig all their albums and the changes, going back and discovering their earlier stuff from Singularity and then especially Discoveries was a progressive trip but extremely painful to see that I missed out on this era. Adrian's lyrics are something very very special to me. I go through the journey (we all do I guess) of life both physically and spiritually and resonate so much with the deep struggles and even pleasure he writes about. I feel it so much in my heart and veins. Nothing gets me as pumped up as Discoveries does. It really gives me chills EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I feel so connected to this album. What a fucking beautiful miracle music is. For now, I will just continue mosh to it alone in my room and in the kitchen when I'm juicing.. scream the lyrics at the top of my lungs while I'm driving on the highway and air guitar to it while I work out. Thanks.
Im in the exact same situation as you haha... Although I really like Node and Marcus as well, it will never be the same without Adrian. Such an intelligent and down to earth guy. Let's just hope for that 10 year anniversary tour I guess haha
Hansol dude imagine how people who grew up with that era of Northlane feel /; I saw Adrian in 2013 the first time they came to the states, btw they're Australian. Since you said you'd fly to America, they're not American haha
+Campbell Louden The whole band is fucking stellar they made every new album golden and a really good job choosing Marcus as the singer he is almost has identical vocals and his own kick.
I was there for this video, it was at a festival called Push-Over in Melbourne. They said there gonna tecord this next song for there video. Never heard of them before but i tell you what these guys just were just something else for a local band. Still one of those bands that dont leave you. There first and second albums were the kind you dont take out the cd player and just let it play.
Did anyone see INTERSTELLAR and think about this song when Anne Hathaway is explaining the concept of love being the one thing strong enough to transcend the dimensions we know as humans. I definitely did. :')
Woah, I haven't watched the movie, I've only known some of the movie soundtracks, but a few days ago I was just thinking about the same exact concept of love like that. Damn, synchronicity at its best. 👌🏼
@@alexiluffy216 It’s a decent metalcore album but I meant more in the lines of post hardcore. Give the album “Your not you anymore” a listen by Counterparts and you might see my point.

I fell in love with it from the first time I discovered Northlane especially the old albums, Discoveries and Singularity especially. Been listening to them for years.
***** Why the fuck do you need firearms? I'm from Australia, doing just fine fighting off the drop bears and baby-eating dingo without firearms, good American sir.
To protect myself against tyranny and anyone who intends to do me or those around me bodily harm ;) Plus it's nice to go to a shooting range on a cold weekend when nobody wants to go do anything else, firing range is always an option to fill in some spare time. I do my hunting w/ bows.
If volumes didn't hold such sentimental value to me, this band would be above them. So much emotion in everything they put out. I do however miss this vocalist.
All my life I've been searching for something to put my faith into to give my life to you. and I will love you in this world and if there s a next. Among the chaos of this world and the overwhelming tide of responsibility. I remember how long it's been since I've felt warmth within my heart. A cold world where love would transcend this dimension. A continuous source of inspiration. And I've been waiting for all of my, all my life. I've been searching for something to put my faith into. To give my life to you, and I will love you in this world and if there's a next. All I want is to remember what it's like to love again. This blistering cold, I've grown so fond of left me in a heartless state. And after all these years I've finally realised that maybe I was never meant to love, or be loved. And if you want to run away I can take you there. I can take you somewhere beautiful and it can be our world.
Actually listen to a band called Invent, Animate they sound almost like Northlane and their new upcoming album will sound exactly if Adrian wouldn't quit Northlane.
I would definately consider Invent, animate my favorite band of all time. Got to meet and talk with Ben when they played my town on the day everchanger came out. And oh my fuck how perfect dark bloom is. Really can't get enough of that band, would probably consider them better than old northlane
Unbelievable. The fills, rhythm changes, its all so sick and unexpected. and when you think you figured something out they throw new at you. So amazing holy shit

well actually, the guitar jon used in this video is his LTD Viper Baritone. It's a 6 string and we recorded the greater part of discoveries with it because it just tracks really well. It's also very light so he loves playing it live. He does also have a 7 string ESP original series viper baritone 7 in white which he would have had at the canberra show you mentioned for the first few songs as a few of our songs use an alternate tuning. Hope this clears it up!
This song combined everything I miss in the area of Post-hardcore and metalcore. Then shows the pure originality of this band by fusing it together into my new favorite song. Tempo changed breakdowns (OM&M). Spacey breakdowns (A bullet For Pretty Boy). 4 on the floor snares (Many Bands) And the ending 5/4 time sig. breakdown was so August Burns Red.
