ngl newer versions of the vocaloid engine work WONDERS on her voice. when i first bought her i did a comparison of rendering the same phrase, tuned the same in v2 and v4 and she was completely unintelligible in v2 and crystal clear in v4. she's an underrated and underused queen.
Anyone recall a removed video that had Sonika and Gumi singing? They were both carrying vocaloids from their companies and I think one of them escaped Sonika's grasp xD

funfact: she’s considered as the worst Vocaloid, just listen to her voice compared to others. you can hear a quality difference. even the v1s sounded better. (my opinion and a lot more people, I personally think she needs an update to showcase her voice quality but probs not gonna happen.)
She's not considered the worst- That's more Macne Nana English and/or Prima territory lol (outside of opera) Her muffledness is actually VERY easy to get rid off both in editor and in mixing! She's one of the most thoroughly recorded English VBs *especially* considering she's a V2 lol and also Zero-G has stated she has every english vowel transition possible and she (unlike Gumi English) actually is meant to sing high! (She's a Soprano vs Gumi English is an alto) She's a lot better than ppl give her credit for! ^^
@@AshleyNovaHQ Macne’s English was improved in V4 and Prima is still pretty good in her main genre, but SONiKA can sound good she’s just.. *really hard to use.*
I've heard that all voice recordings were recorded over Skype, maybe that's why the quality of her voice isn't the best. Also, I think Gachapoid is considered the worst vocaloid, even though he sounds decent to me.

I think it sounds pretty good personally. It’s probably in my top 10 favorites of the video.
