I have just discovered your channel and I absolutely love it. I am 47 and on the larger side. I love your channel, you have so many different topics on wearing vintage and styling. I love sewing my own 1940's style clothing. I am venturing into knitting, currently knitting a washer (1940's of course). I am also hoping to crochet my own snoods. I am in Australia and have just resigned from my mental health nursing job. I have realised how unhappy I was not being able to wear nail polish or acrylic nails(infection control rules). I love your content it is perfect for me right now as I am looking to work in business admin and lokking good counts. It is Sunday afternoon and rainy here so I have just been watching all your playlists with my doggie friends Bozzi and Scruffy. Again love your content, I will endeavor to support your channel.
If you check out my How to Put on and Wear a Snood video, I have links in there that will be helpful for you. chronically-overdressed.com/2020/11/30/how-to-put-on-and-wear-a-snood/
I know I have found this video a long time after but I wanted to see/ask if anyone know where I can find a pattern to make a snood? I am asking because when I put it in here most of what I am getting are (winter "snood, they call them") hat/scarf patterns. But what you are wearing at the begging of this video is what I'm looking for a pattern of Sorry so long, but thank you!

Hello and welcome! I'm glad you've found me.
So interesting! 😃👏👏👏
Glad you think so!
Great tips sweetie! Looking wonderful in your snood! X
Thanks so much! 😊
Snoods would fit for my very straight hair but can't try it because it looks so very out of time that i need more braveness to try it
I have seen a similar snood as the fabric one in a movie, set in the 40s. It was used to protect flat laying pin curls, while sleeping.
🙋🏻♀️😘
Thanks for sharing!
Great info! Thank you!
My pleasure!
Thank you very much
You are welcome
I love snoods! I have 2 but I want more! Can you still buy beaded hairnets today? I love the basket snood! Where do you buy your hair nets and snoods?

Check Etsy, I’ve seen crochet patters for snoods there.
