I have never used the online feature for anything other than downloading path designs and eyebrow designs and visiting my grown kids island as they live on their own. I always assumed most are not paying monthly for online features, so its eye opening watching creators say how grindy the game suddenly feels when they play the game like I do. I knew they never got nook miles tickets for hunts by grinding, but I didnt consider how much nintendo online changed their gameplay. Fair play, but the grind for materials is normal for anyone not able to afford monthly subscription costs (nintendo online) or dlc.
I love natural islands ❤ I would have probably added some in-game paths to nicely tie the areas together, but overall I love the simplicity of your design.
The island is beautiful! I love to watch. I actually play every day. I think that is what is missing from this play through, you're only decorating and this is why you have so little money. Decorating is only one part of the game and sometimes I think the decorating gets in the way of playing the game. Decorating is fun, I totally agree, the items are awesome.
I just wanted to say that Bob in Spanish was called Arándano, which translates to Blueberry. So you can Imagine how much I laughed when I learned that his english name was BOB, amazin 10/10 I have video for days now hehe
Love this challenge! It inspired me to start a new island and combine this challenge with the DIY only challenge (but I'm allowing myself pathing and patterns so it's not all pain lol) This was a really relaxing watch!
I toured Komoto and it was insane (in a great way) and I didn't get lost at all. It was very cohesive and lovely to look at. I cannot wait to see how this island turns out. Excited to watch!
I still have my island from 2020, and while I have done a little terraforming to smooth out some edges, it's largely the way it was when I started. (How was that four years ago?? What did covid do to my sense of time??) I can't wait to settle in and watch this whole thing! Don't mind me, just gonna go get my switch...
I personally don’t really consider the paths to really be part of the terraforming, it felt like limiting yourself on the paths AND on the custom designs wasn’t really fair? I feel like one or the other would have been more balanced.

I just started playing for the first time and I’ve already quite easily crafted tools and their replacements. I don’t understand paying for them. It’s so easy to get branches. Seriously, I’ve only actually logged in four times. I also don’t understand why fishing would be difficult for anyone. It’s so much easier than fishing in Stardew Valley. I paid my moving fee my first log in and got my house by the third log in. I got thr museum built by the second log in. Am I missing something? Sure, a lot of it is a grind but I’m figuring once you get established there won’t be as much grinding to do.
the bridges,,, UGH! I feel this pain. I hadn't terraformed at all until recently for my inclines and the damn bridges. I just want my town to look similar to some of the older games,,,
I watched all of this, great video, loving your channel. I have come back to Animal Crossing after a couple of years where I got to K.K. Slider and just stopped. So I have restarted and have unlocked Terraforming. Looking forward to keep going! I think I might buy the DLC too :)
I, personally, like having one island per switch. With some of the islands I create I need to have multiple playable characters. Maybe, in the future, there could be an option of would you like to join player one's island or start your own.
Yeah! Like, imagine if when a second account starts the game and Timmy and Tommy ask where you’re moving, it pops up with a screen letting you choose between “First account’s island” and “New island”!

another challenge I enjoyed was single color challenge and (my own personal challenge) 1 month with a fully flattened island to make a fairycore island with a rock island within the island and at least 10 separate waterfalls (as in 3rd level cant lead to 2nd level, none of them could be within 5 tiles of each other to count)
Personally, I'd be flexible with the terraforming if it was just for the purpose of making bridges. Leaving your rivers "all natural" can really hurt when it comes to bridges.
I love your channel and the videos you make. I started playing a couple of months ago and no matter how many times I visit islands with Cap'n or flying using Nook Miles tickets, I cannot find pear or orange trees. Any advice? Thanks again!!

You should add a farmers market and a little flower stand in areas you didn’t know what to really do. It looks so good tho
