  • With the car jacked up, right rear wheel removed, and level sensor arm disconnected, the system was checked out by moving the sensor arm to simulate a load in the back of the wagon. The ignition was energised but the engine does not need to be running.

Have a 2006 bmw wagon 530xi , keeps getting level control system malfunction. And when it happens rear passenger side drops. Have no clue what it could be. Is this for that? Any ideas on what it could be. I don’t want to get rid of it, if it’s an easy fix. Don’t know what to do lol

If only one side drops it might be the air spring on that side, but I am not an expert. Check the hose from the pump and the level sensor joint which I disconnected in the video.

Check the pressure at the compressor outlet. must be above 8 bar. If not, the compressor must be regenerated. Greetings from Poland.
