I bought a pair of air bags from eBay for £41. Took me 30 mins per side to do. Assuming the compressor is ok, it's a very inexpensive repair.

Completely wrong. Replace the bag. They last for many years. Springs will ruin the handling and load capacity. -YMMV

Just a random question would the air suspension fit a 2001 bmw 530i saloon auto 3.0L ?? Are the cups on the axle wide enough?

I just bought one of these in dark green for 2k.
It’s a 6 speed manual and it has the full M5 dashboard and cluster.
Awd straightpiped but it’s sitting exactly how yours was.
Is there a way to pull all of that out and throw one pieces in?
Or is the air ride the thing to have?
I’m so confused with BMW…

Dude nice.... There's only 663 manuals in North America. I got one in black. Id suggest keeping the air suspension. Not to hard to fix yourself.
