      @@sukhbirghuldu5046 I also get huge benefit from watching www.youtube.com/@Erindale and their excellent procedural tutorials (lots of key shortcuts, texturing and most of all - Geometry Nodes).

    I've been using Fusion 360 for quite sometime, but I doubt I could do it as easily as you do with Blender. This is my second tutorial after the hammer one, and I'm sold. Other tutorials attempted to teach me a plethora of Blender tools and functions that were overwhelming to me. Just this video and the hammer video taught me more skills to design models that I couldn't with Fusion 360. Thank you kindly.

    One thing I recommend is to use shift + E to adjust subdivision surface faces rather than loop cuts. As loop cuts increase geometry unnecessarily. It doesn't matter for the purpose of this tutorial. But just as a good practice.

    This thing on 3:40 usually happens when the normals of shapes don't face the same direction. If you match the normals at this point (as you did later on), you don't have to move loop on Z axis and "Bridge edge loops" works just fine.

    • @ericarevalo5005

    • @JermaineGrant
      @JermaineGrant Год назад

      yep this happend to me aswell. its because i made an extra edge loop at the to[p part of the can so when i mark the seem for uv unwrap it all connects it together at the top of the can. go in to vert mode and move it down a little to reveal the vert behind it, back into edge mode, select then right click then select mark seam. press A then U then select unwrap. that should solve the problem.
