A super hearty meal that is a staple. Nothing better than coming in from the cold to a big pot of soup bubbling on the stove! I usually make my own bone broth as my base. Awesome stuff!!
Kelly and I have each had leftover soup twice, and I’ll finish it off tomorrow for lunch. That’s one reason I like making soup. Multiple meals. We also want to eventually make our own broths and stocks, but we’re not there yet. Have a great weekend!
@@DelightedAcres I don't get very fancy making my bone broth as all I do is save bones, mostly chicken bones, put them in a container in the freezer, and when the container is full, place them all in my Insta-Pot, pressure cooker, cover with water, set the timer for about 10-12 minutes, drain it all through a colander, use some for soup right away, and put the rest in a container for the freezer for the next time.
This looks great, John. I like the ingredients you have used and one I haven't used myself in soup - cabbage.👍 It's definitely going into my next pot of soup.
Oh, Richard, you’ve been missing out. I think you’d like the addition of cabbage. Just don’t eat too much. It has been known to have a loosening effect… if you know what I mean.
@@thewildhuckleberryAR awesome! We planned to volunteer, then life things happened and it looked like we weren’t even gonna go because we can’t leave Bear. Sunday, Kelly told me I should still go. Monday I secured time off from work. Tuesday I made my reservations! I will get to go after all, so I’ll see you there! I hate that Kelly can’t go this time though.

That sounds simple enough.

I would be more likely to leave the juice on the green beans than the corn. That would be better in ny opinion.
Yeah, that’s okay with me. This time around the corn was fine not drained, but mostly I’ll drain it.
Are you gonna be at the Expo next week?
@@DelightedAcres I surely am. I'm so ready!
