This man deserves atleast 500k subs, such high quality video's should be seen and loved by many more people
That's awesome to hear, thanks! 🤠
And honestly I'm only 16 so u got some young viewers I cant wait for the gooseneck build u are an amazing creator and I have learned a lot from u
That's great to hear, thank you so much! 👍
Thats the Ultimate work horse that I ever seen. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. I love all your welding jobs
I absolutely love those leveling sawhorses. Genius. They should last for years. I thought you’d go for screaming lime green paint to make them easier to find in the shed though. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Really looking forward to seeing the trailer come together on them.
Love seeing Aspen too. She’s such a beautiful pup.
Thanks, Pete! I like the idea of painting them lime green 😂
Thanks! I really enjoy your videos. I've gotten a lot of great ideas from them. I'm a welder/ fabricator by trade and I have really gotten some useful information from you!
That's great to hear, thank you so much!
Ditto!
Cant wait for thr trailer build. Ive wanted to build my own, but i lack the knowledge and equipment
Thanks for watching! Hopefully it helps!
I am a little late to the party, but the leveling saw horses is a great idea and you did a super job.
A video idea for ya. Amend this design with a hydraulic leveler to level the sawhorses together for a 4 point level surface. There are plenty of applications that such would be handy. Or even purposely off level like if you needed a defined drop. Good work man. I'm gonna steal this design soon for my own stuff. 😁
Thanks! Interesting idea! 👍
What kind of hydraulic press would you use for that?
Built in water level. A few hoses and a good eyeball. That way the four corners can be leveled together. Trying to make some kind of auto leveler would be extremely difficult. Some integrated hosing, sight glasses, and resavour would make leveling a cinch.
love it! Maybe add some wings like a tree stand and a thrust bearing itl be butter and you wont need a wrench!
Looks like this is going to be a KILLER build!! Thanks!!
I'm glad to hear the enthusiasm! 🤠
Great work. Horses are great for portability, too. Imagine trying to move a table with the same strength.
Thank you! 👍
Super tes tréteaux. Bon travail. Hervé F.
Finally been waiting on this build watching Waldo on my phone with a ice cold Gatorade nothing better than this🔥
Cheers! 🤠
Thanks for the great video Waldo! Can’t wait for the build!!
Thanks for watching! Until next time 👍
Absolutely fantastic Waldo!!!
Some of the greatest ideas are the most simple. The sawhorses work perfectly. So looking forward for the next episode.
Thank you so much! 🤠
Excellent filming crystal clear !, can't wait for trailer building , that's one project iv never done , thanks for sharing this Waldo !!
Thanks, Steve! The trailer build is definitely an exciting project 😃
Great job Waldo!
Thanks!
Loving the truck build and looking forward to the trailer build.
My wife and I went to Keene, NH for a couple days. Beautiful country! I can see why you like it.
Oh nice! Keene is a nice little city to visit 👍
Awesome video Waldo! Glad you included Aspen in It! We are pet parents also. Love your fabrication skills!
Thanks! I'm glad to hear the feedback about Aspen 👍
Love these saw horses, I need about 4 of them at times, especially since I need to build a new 28-30’ gooseneck car trailer. My old trailer has seen way better days, because it now has a bent frame again, we straightened it reinforced after we bought it at an auction 9 years ago. I noticed the tires are wearing funny. Anyway great video and I learn a lot from watching you build. Just wish I could weld instead of butchering the metal. Lol
Ooh, that sounds like a fun project! 👍
What a great video and those are awesome! Excited for the trailer build!
Thank you so much!
Wow this is a great design thank you for sharing well thought out and not over complicated.
Nice sawhorses! Love your videos! Keep em coming!
Thank you! 🤠
Take some 1/4 inch round stock, maybe 3 or 4 inches long, and weld 2 on each leveling nut, opposite each other, to adjust for level and no wrench needed.
Oh good. Another video to help me procrastinate at work! Really enjoying your channel!
Thanks, I'm glad to hear it! 🤠
This is amazing !!! I will be building one soon
Very very good idea with those horse tresles...
I've been looking for a way to have a level area for my projects. This will do it. Thanks. Awesome video
Yeah sweet focus on the new camera
years ago i built a huge jig table, out of 2x4 tubing, used c-channel and 2" heavy fire hose for air bag, the hose lays between 2, 4" c-channel with 2x1/4 flat bar tabs so they stay in line when inflated with air. for clamping the full length, an width, and the same system for clamping any steel sheeting to a frame.. same as we used at can car building rail hopper grain cars. i build all my trailer, farm gates and any frames on, it make every thing 100% square an level once you turn the air ball valve on, i welded 3 2" seamless tubing peaces down each side for drop leg that lock with a welded on 1" stainless steel nut and a 1.5" 1" stainless bolt, i cut spindle hubs off an old car so i have wheels on one end to move it around. make lay out and clamping a breeze for any size frame, it 40 feet long with a sliding tube to make any width and lock tight with air, i would have used the same air bag set up on them saw horses.. just really short one with a bigger fire hose
You personify Yankee Ingenuity! Excellent job!
Thank you! 😂
This channel is so underrated.
Love your vids
Wow, thank you so much!
Well done Wald. Watching your videos has me wondering where you learned how to weld. It seems natural for you. I bet you’d be a great finished carpenter too given your patience. Looking forward to more videos. Keep em coming.
Thanks, Scott! I've taken some welding classes, but it's mostly practice and patience. And being able to see the weld puddle -- a quality welding helmet with a clean lens helps with that! 👍
Wicked awesome idea
Thank you! Cheers!
Another great video, Waldo! Thanks for including the Aspen outtakes at the end. I’m thinking you could build a battleship on those sawhorses. Haha. Might want to put the sawhorse feet pads on some scrap plywood, to ensure they don’t sink into the ground as you add more weight to the trailer build. 👍
Thanks, Greg! I should probably include more of Aspen going forward 🤠
@@WaldosWorld yes please , more Aspen and Rhino content
Very nice job, built for a lifetime
Thank you! 🤠
I'm not sure if I agree with your good enough statement, but I do work as a carpenter and was a union scaffolder for 10 years. I do like your sawhorses. When I built my trailer I had HD vehicle screw jacks.
I guess my point was that all the members that I add will be positioned relative to the frame rails and won't need to be checked for level. The sawhorses were just used to make sure the frame rails are not warped 👍
@@WaldosWorld I understood what you were getting at.
great info
Very interesting building looking forward to future videos
Thank you for watching! 🤠
Awesome as always! I can't wait until you have 500k subs and a proper metal work/fab shop. There's no telling the stuff you'll produce then.
This! I will definitely be building a nice shop once I have the funds for it. Interestingly, I just today brought home a hefty Bridgeport mill for the shop so I can start doing machine work 👌
great build! :-)
Awesome video I have never seen any like these but now that I have I will be building me a set thanks for the great videos
Thank you! Glad to be a source of inspiration!
Brilliant build my friend. Thanks for sharing. Great camera and editing work as well 🤘
Thank you for watching! 👍
I like them. Simple but effective.
Might I suggest you pick a 'garage furniture' color and buy a gallon of implement paint from Tractor Supply? I paint all of my projects a nice shade of blue. Much cheaper to paint it all with a chip brush dipped into the gallon can than using a bunch of spray bombs.
That's a good idea. Implement paint is generally more durable than the rattle can stuff too 😬
Nice video! May I suggest: Read the safety data sheet on that degreaser. You dodged a bullet the day you made this video. If I may be so bold: Safety goggles next time.👌
Love to watch yr vlog bro, from the country INDIA & state MANIPUR
Love your videos 😊😊😊
Thank you, I'm glad to hear it!
I love your content
Thank you!
This is brilliant man
Thanks, Joe! 😉
@@WaldosWorld ahhahahahahaa my boyyyyyy
pretty gosh darned tight , what a sweetie , no eff word usage , I'm gonna use red paint , 😅 always 100% with the technical details mate , woof woof Aspen but where is Rhino ?
Should have put some piece of lumber on the top. Without it you will scratch a paint and it will rust faster.
I keep coming back to see if you posted the trailer vid yet, not to rush you but I’m going nuts
Wow, thank you for the enthusiasm! I'm trying to get this project done in time so I can paint it before it gets too cold out 😬
do you have measurements on everything like your risers and a list of hole sizes. I actually plan to make this myself actually for my fab shop and you'd be a life saver if you could get all that info for me man. You got a new sub lol, absolutely love the work.
Dude Walio! I'm moving to Upstate NY. Great video! New sub here man!
Thanks for the sub!
AWESOME Waldo!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I like this idea. I shared this with my brother.
Thank you!
Ever consider putting teflon sliding pads along the top? It would keep your saw horses from getting too scratched up. You can get em from Grainger in 48" lengths.
That's a good idea! The paint is already scraped and scratched from moving the beams around 😂
Hey Waldo I just found you channel and subscribed right away! Already watched like half your videos lol. Anyway if you're upgrading the dry cut saw just for the 45° angle, the evolution saw also has the same problem of sliding the metal on miter cuts. Jimbos garage uses the evolution saw and he pointed that out
Thanks for the sub and also for the tip!
We need the trailer build ASAP
Thanks for the enthusiasm! I'm working 12+ hour days trying to get this video out 🤠
When is the gooseneck coming ??
It should be any time now. I'm just waiting on something outside of my control 😂
cool you have a Hungarian vassal
I just made a set of these for some projects I have coming up.
First off: They are awesome. I set them 6’ apart and got my 72” level out, and let’s just say, in about 3 minutes the cross beams were not only level but also level with the other sawhorse and from one sawhorse corner to the far corner of the other horse. Fantastic.
Second, if you make these, I have a suggestion. Weld your Grade 8 rings around your holes before you cut out the pivot slots. I cut my pivot slots first and then when welding the washers, the ends of my cross members warped upward.
I know there were some questions about how long you made the top rail was. Didn’t see the answer to that question. But in your trailer video I think the ibeams were 63” on center so i think they had to be 72” top rails on the sawhorses? If you get a chance to measure we’d love to know.
My lengths.
45 legs - 17” each
Uprights -18” before the v cut
Welded crossmember - 56”
Top leveling rail - 64”
Thanks again for the videos, Waldo. Cheers.
@ 6:08 He did weld the washers first before the pivot cut...
Nice looking welds -- practice appears to make perfect.
Thanks, but I'd say it's just a good welding machine 😂
@@WaldosWorld The best tools in the hands of people who lack skill yield crap. Take the credit, man.
I have that same saw and im not a big fan really need to get the 120v cold saw
So, that's how you paint over mill scale.
when is the next video coming😩 i cant wait....
this was a nice video😁
Thank you! It'll be at least a couple weeks. These complex build videos are a TON of work to put together 😬
Kudos to you. Such a clever dude! Aspen is cute 😁
Thank you! She's the best ❤️
So excited to see the build. Love watching your Channel. Does the king reply ?
Thank you, glad to hear it!
Theses are awesome, How much stock did you use to build these
Great build and excellent tutorial.
What camera and lens are you using?
Thanks! I just bought a Canon EOS R6. Most of the video was probably shot with my EF 50mm f/1.4. It's a cheap lens, but it gets the job done! I use an EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM when I can get the camera back far enough, but it's a bit long for the workshop
What kind of cutoff disc's do you use? And another awesome project.
It looks like the chop saw is pushing the metal as you cut you can see it on the first cut you make.
Would be nice to hear some dimensions of the horses, and how that size worked. Is it just right or would be better to make those taller, shorter? Nice job!
Listen to the video closely. The only length he didn't give was the length of the uprights.
Nice sawhorses but wouldn’t some pipe jack stands be cheaper? I picked some up the other day for $75 a piece foldable
Great Video! So what is your new autofocusing pro dog-tracking camera? 📷
Thanks! It's a Canon EOS R6
Looks great. What's the size of the bolts please?
Man, I've wondered about those Diablo blades. I'm not impressed with all the sparks coming off the cut. Is the piece hot after the cut?
Great video! I may have missed it, but how tall are your verticals?
I really like that idea for the sawhorse. By any chance could list the materials and dimensions used in the build? I would like to try building a pair myself.
I must have missed it but was wondering where you purchased the saw horses from?
👍👌👏
How do you like that may drill ?
Is that a Diablo metal cutting blade on your chop saw ?
It is. It works pretty well 👌
@@WaldosWorld after seeing how well it works, I’m going to have to buy one. I do some metal fabrication myself and burn thru too many abrasive wheels on my chop saw. Any idea how many cuts that Diablo blade would be good for ???
What are the hole spacing on the 50" and 70" rails?
I was watching your goose neck video and saw these in use and I was wondering about these and here we are....lol
So who does your video editing?
I do all the editing myself 👍
Do you have height measurements the fixed top bar and the adjustable top bar
Have tested the max weight?
Okay Waldo, trailer time is definitely going to get you the extra RUclips brownie points.
I hope to learn some things from you here please crank your plans to 11
Thank you! I hope to be a source of inspiration 👌
@@WaldosWorld your channel always has the cleanest work on it. Ps paint the trailer red 👀
When are we getting some more information on the trailer.
The trailer build video is currently in the works. I'm plowing full steam ahead on it!
Where did you come up with that idea ,them are cool as shit ,can you send me specs so I can build a set
What kind of dog is Aspen?
She's a Vizsla 👍
How tall are you
Closer to 6 feet than to 7 feet 😬
Is the truck done
It's roadworthy, but there's still a bunch of stuff on the to-do list for the truck
👍🏽👍🏽
What is the estimated capacity of these stands?
Where did you get your steel delivered from?
I go to Cohen Steel in Concord
Feed your dog bro😂😂
Just wondering when the wife's gonna let you build a nice big shop?
I really do need a big shop! 😂
Another excellent Vid Waldo!!! You'll be in the ground 50 years and those saw horses will still be working just fine!!What weight rating do you feel the trailer will be?
Thank you! It's going to be a 14,000 lb trailer
@@WaldosWorld a trailer that heavy doesn’t leave much room before your at cdl levels. 14k trailer and a 6k truck now you can only haul 6k before your illegal.
How old is your dog ??
She's 4 years old
@@WaldosWorld she’s a nice looking dog looks health and happy
