I think theres nothing wrong with the way katie dealt with the miscarriage everyone deals with grief in such different ways. Im sure she showed more emotion in private with peter. I actually admire her for being so strong.
Katie is so different nowadays. She always says that she'll come back stronger than ever but actually, in every single time she says this she just grows weaker and weaker. The constant car accidents, moving from man to man, the need for babies to love her, the drink, the drugs, the rehab. It all adds up, I think she needs to take a break from all of it. Stay away from men. Live a calm, ordered life.
It's now 2020,And it's crazy watching this back, Peter hasn't changed at all, But Katie really has changed in herself, Like the way she talks even, She was more relaxed back then, Now I feel like she tries too hard when there's no need to. This is the Katie everyone fell in love with!

Completely agree, she's always been loud and lary at times but now its all the time and I can only think that it's because, like you said, its to do with the amount of drugs that she is continually under. She is calmer and seems happier within herself 12 years ago nowadays she's broke and selling herself out to the highest bidder.
Everyone saying how cold she is, the poor woman was in fucking shock she was like 15 weeks pregnant! Out of the danger zone in most people's eyes, I never knew this happened and I'm so sad for her! Nobody expects this to happen or how you would cope if it did. Poor family.
I really sympathise with Katie here. People saying she's being cold because she's not acting the same as Peter. Unfortunately she knew the baby was dead in a way peter couldn't due to the changes in her body for the past 2 weeks. She was already prepared and had accepted that outcome before peter probably even knew, that's why she was trying to warn Peter before the appointment not to get his hopes up

i cannot believe how strong she is! i suppose after all the hardship shes endured in her life its made her really strong but that is amazing.. u know she still cares but she is soo strong.. wish i was like that she is my role model!!!!
Melissa Bee i acted the same way with my MC but I knew in my heart that’s what happened I showed no emotion until I was behind my closed doors, my fiancée was in floods of tears in the hospital car park everyone is different doesn’t make us cold.

people say oh well everyone reacts in a different way, no, not necessarily: when your spouse/child/loved family member dies your heart is broken with grief, we all react the same way on the tragedy...unless...you don`t care

Everyone deals with pain differently. Don't judge she was feeling pain, but she was expecting it therefore it wasn't so much of a shock.
