From my experience of over 50 years playing in BlackJack, it's wise to buy 25% insurance on hard 19 & 50% insurance on hard 20! Maximum amount of money 💰 you can buy insurance is 50% of your wager/bet as insurance pays 2:1! Anything lower than 19 do not buy insurance! And....take even money 💰 if you have BlackJack against dealer's Ace as there are 128 tens & face cards in 8 decks shoe! You should not follow Basic Strategy 100%! You have to modify to suit actual play as history mostly repeats itself! TQ
