- In this video, I show you and tell you how to use a Samsung dishwasher. I go over the basic instructions that will likely apply to many of the dishwashers that Samsung offers. If your dishwasher model is slightly different, then you will likely have to change the usage instructions a bit, but you should always consult your owner's manual to see exactly how to use your specific dishwasher model.

I have this same washer, I love it! My old one was a frigidaire from 2007 that sounded like a train and dripped from a corner. The Samsung looks really good, is super quiet, and cleans really well.

Hello I have the same dishwasher and when I do that after 2 seconds it shows 4c what does that mean
what to do when I wanted to finish earlier and I have some water left at the bottom?
I just purchased a new Samsung dishwasher this week to replace my old Maytag from 1999! The instructions had nothing on how to start the wash cycle. I didn’t know I was supposed to press the buttons then close the door quickly. I was trying to select the cycle and pressing start with the door closed and nothing happened. I thought my new dishwasher was broken! Thank you for this video!

If you open the dishwasher mid cycle do you need to press start before you close the door or does it automatically continue where it left off? Does it need to start all over once you open it?

For delay start, do I select start after choosing the delay time and then close it? It then blinks next to the delay hour. I tried this last night and it didn’t work so not sure what I did wrong.

@@mosaicmind88 Hi, it seems to be working now. It didn't work the first time for some reason. The blinking means the delay start is scheduled.
@@JL99ish Thank you for responding. Through my own trials, I discovered that the method for Delay Start seems to be....
Enter your regular settings
Enter your Delay Start time
Push the Start button
Close the door
Delay Start light should be blinking
If you open the door to add another dirty dish, start the whole process afresh. That's where I went wrong initially. I did the process correctly but added more dirty dishes later in the evening. Although everything seemed fine with my Delay Start settings, by opening the door after it was set, I ended up negating it even though I changed nothing other than opening the door. In other words, once you set it, don't open it. If you do, then start the Delay process over again. Push Start. Close door. Make sure it's blinking.
Through another trial and error I learned that if you enter the Delay Start time but don't push Start, the dishwasher will periodically beep at you. The dishwasher doesn't explain why it's beeping so you have to deduce the problem -- which is, you pushed Delay Start but failed to push Start to complete the process. Once you push Start, the beeping stops. Close the door and make sure the Delay light is blinking.
I'm writing all this down for others who have come to this video seeking solutions. Hope it helps.

It's all in the manual, which I read in length: 56 pages!! Just crazy.
It does a good job cleaning dishes, but heaven forbid if I punch delay by accident. This happened to me this morning, and it took my husband at least 30 minutes to undo it. I am not yet ready to say that I love this dishwasher.

Mine doesn't dry the dishes and I can't figure it out
Try putting rinse aid in it. That'll help. Make sure heated dry is turned on. Also running the hot water from your sink for a minute or so or get it hot before u run the dishwasher will help as well.
