honestly this is the best cover I've come across. I feel like it's closest to what Fever Ray originally intended for the song. just a reminder to everybody she didn't write the song for Vikings, her entire album was based on motherhood from start to finish, this being the first track on the beginning of life but usually starts and suffocating darkness. but I also like it had a nice upbeat feeling to it as well, quite a nice perspective on things. overall great job.

+X Ten as a sound engineer I find the vocals to have too much editing... maybe it would be better with less amount of the FX and a better EQ it sounds too compressed... too fake.... you could keep the artistic choice but make it a little less and I believe it would be better...
Normally I don't like overly edited vocals but it fits in with the instrumentation. It just all melds together perfectly the way I see it. Great cover.

That's a misuse of the word, however as a remix it's great. A dark electronic take on the song. Maintaining the strong and simple notes buts changing the instrument. Side by side listening they are two very different songs and it comes down to personal taste as to which is preferred. I prefer the original but I still very much enjoy this song. Something I would put with an electronic music mix.

I'm extremely unsure of how to feel about this. On one hand I thoroughly enjoy where it goes from the beginning of the song, but on the other hand I feel like just a little bit too much vocal distortion was done and it kind of takes away from the song, especially in the early portions of the song.
