- SUPER FUN day of bass fishing right here!!! There are still some bass on beds, but there were tons of post spawn bass cruising the clear shallows and they were munching!!! A Texas rigged craw, drop shot and shaky head did the damage and put plenty of bass in the boat!

i got a beast yesterday to. only i saw it before i can cast to it .i tossed out a watermellon red flake Bearpaws stickbait and 5 sec later my line started moving ouf and it was that same fish i saw..bout 2.5 lb

I exclusively fish braid to leader and I rarely lose fish on my finesse setups. I think most people set their drag wrong and don't adjust it accordingly. I have it set tighter to start so I get a good hook set, then I immediately loosen it up a bit so the fish can take line.
Same here with the exception of the drop shot in most cases. Short casts in shallow water are a nightmare with all floro due to line twists, so I'll do the braid to leader in that case on the drop shot. It was strange to loose so many.
Wow fishing was on fire out there, how big do you think that fish you lost in the stump field was? Also, I'm thinking about getting an Old Town, that looks like what you have. Scale of 1-10, how stable is that kayak? I'm a large mammal, I flipped my kayak twice last year
It was! 3.5 to 4 I'm guessing. Crazy stable!!! 9 out of 10...

Nice Vid, but ya got to reposition that chestie. your arms block our view when you say "Look at that one guys" I would say wear it higher or try a head cam... not your fault.... you're huge! congrats loll....prob missed some eats that will draw viewers in. I am not good at making videos btw I tried but had the same issue and I suck at it. so take it for what you will. I feel like GoPro needs to make a chestie that sits high up on your right or left Pectoral area honestly.
I agree 100%! Hairy forearms are certainly not as exciting to watch as the fishing action. I'm going to try and manipulate the straps and reposition the camera next time.
