that programme was to pay tribute to Geoffrey Wheeler who died in 2013 after a long illness he was 83 he’ll be sadly missed by myself and the songs of praise team. Rest in peace Geoffrey 1930-2013 I loved him for many years.
Exactly what 623058 has said. In the 5.15 slot, shown Monday to Friday, production handed over to an independent all on the emphasis that ITV was retiring it. They did the same to "Give Us A Clue" as well. This is the first time I have seen the 1988 series with the YTV frontcap, as that year, ITV scrapped them.
Correct BUT, Grampian and Scottish, Started on 20 April, but Scottish Television finished on 7 July 1988, while Grampian completed the series on 15 July 1988; A number of episodes were held back.

Deborah Sutherland also wrote the questions for YTV’s 3-2-1 too. I’m guessing she might’ve been one of the brains to write those riddle-esque clues.
Correct!
5:50 - Ooh, I know this one. None.
so only some regions would have shown it on a Saturday?
60 programmes over 10 weeks?
that means winner takes all would have been shown 6 days a week
