I know I'm a few years late. But, I still want to say "nice review". I LOVE these EMD F-units. But, I am a hardcore brass guy. All of my HO scale F-units are made from brass, and were imported by Overland Models, lnc. I do not own any plastic models. But, I still like your review.

Do these newer units have keep alives installed in them?
ESU is using its own Powerpack. Walthers locomotives are not equipped with Power packs.

@@mjobermeyer09 The easy way to change it is with a LokProgrammer, heed to adjust the primer and some other sounds, to lower the volume.
