Here’s the thing, I’m a swindle fan… but also a Texas fan. I want what’s best for Texas and swindle isn’t. Swindle is good and won tx national championship, but her accuracy isn’t as good as carlson
@@DHN669 Carlson hasn’t been able to work well with Madi, especially in the back row. Her with the other hitters aren’t good either but the connection with them are more better than hers and madi
Thanks for uploading the SEC games. I live in Texas and my local provider and Disney are in contract re-negotiations, so needless to say we are not able to view any Disney channels (ABC, ESPN SEC) and others.
@@DHN669to be fair, who was parra going to play over? I don’t want to lose either of them but still, parra is good but to me, she isn’t consistent. But happy she found her place at tcu
@@WhitneyGadison1 she was GOOD. She couldve done wonders for the team this year. Her serves were amazing, and Jenna wennas isn’t great until she’s on fire. 2022 season, maybe no one but let her see the court for goodness sake
@@DHN669 her serves were amazing I agree, but it’s like who was she gonna play over? No way she’s gonna play over Madi or Logan. I can agree if she had stay last year, she probably would had replace Jenna cus Jenna was so damn streaky throughout the season until we hit the regional finals matchup with Stanford then she was on fire
@@WhitneyGadison1 valid, but if they were playing some unranked team and winning by 10 then give that poor girl a bone. Give her a chance and she would’ve stayed.
Few things, they need to work on their serves/serve receive, those are things that can easily be fixed. Also, they need to play Devin more, she’s a huge game changer! And I still think Jenna doesn’t need to play back row, but that’s just me and ofc maybe try out the 5 2 with Ella front averi back. Either way good win! Sloppy mistakes but still a good win!
I love Wennas, but I’m sorry she can’t play back row. She is struggling with service receive still! She is the weakest back row player and she can’t jump very high in the back row.
Elliot does this in the beginning of the season. He lets them play 6 rotation (not just Wennas, but many others in the past), but eventually he will start subbing them out for a DS. He will only keep one 6-rotation player. (Skinner)
Not sure why the Swindle stans continue to manipulate everyone with their Anti-Carlson propaganda but 8 points into set 3 and there has not been one good set by Swindle. She can’t set to RS, imagine her setting a true backrow oppo like Drews, chile that would be a disaster.
I disagree, she doesn’t have the best connection with the players compared to Ella. Ella’s defense and offense are way better than Avery overall. I do believe that Avery have the better hands. But since Ella is taller, her blocking is more aggressive, and she can do a lot at the net.
They just need to test out a 5 2, see if that works. But if all honesty, I want Ella to be our starting setter, she was part of the reason Texas won the title last year, averi needs to learn our system more and Ella 8: more dominant than she is
I think ella should only be a front row setter. I feel like her defense is inconsistent. Maybe ella feels like she had more pressure on her because she is competing with avery? I’m not sure. It is still the beginning of the season, over time they will get better connections with the hitters. Ella was used to setting Molly Philips fast balls on the right side so I can see that’s why.
I dont like Carlson as the setter. I am a big swindle fan...

Same! And I thought it was gonna show on espn + which is what I got and it didn’t ever show on there
OMG SAME!! I have directTV and like so many channels are gone, I’m like WTF!! Thank god I have espn plus and RUclips!!
Devin and Lauenstein need more playing time asap 🗣️🗣️
Yes they do. Don’t make the same mistake they did with parra.

Ames should have redshirted, she’s clearly not ready yet.
Hits were pretty well I don’t think she is as quick as Singletary
No O’Neal? I thought she was playing one more year.
10:09 Damn, Vanderbilt is no longer in the SEC.
Carlson has for sure earned that starting spot. Ella’s sets and defense were just sloppy
