Don't do it, Emily. Don't do Scylla, I said. Not because I don't love it, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I just KNEW I was gonna go ham on the harmonies....and I did :3 I figured out all the harmonies by ear (as right as they can be anyways). Thank you, Bachelor's of Music ear training @ 7 fucking AM every day.
There were four harmonies and one melody. Each harmony, I recorded 3 times each for panning. Total of vocal tracks: 15. It all paid off though I love how this turned out.
Thank you to lovely lovely Malina and Lou again for collabing :) Malina for being tragic Eurylochus who just wanted to check the bag and also made the amazing thumbnail. Lou for hanging in call one night and when I mentioned I wanted to be a free tiddy sea monster, they said SURE THING and whipped the art up in an hour.
Suffering, Open Arms, Done For, Different Beast, and There are Other Ways coming next.

Probably isn’t noticeable upon first glance, but Lou based on the Scylla heads on dogs 😂 Can you point out which breeds of dogs you see? The one to the bottom right is a chihuahua. I call that one Beepo.

Okay, I just want it on the record, this version is BETTER than the original. Particularly Scylla's attack portion. It sounds like chorus of agony yet still lyrical. That is HARD to do, huge huge props.

Cool cover but i was thinking the silhouettes holding the torches should've disappeared when scylla was singing
When I clicked on this cover, I thought to myself "If there's any point where this cover screws up, it's gonna be the Scylla bit, and its gonna ruin the whole cover for me" and then you proceed to hit me with the most terrifying harmonies I've heard in my entire life.
Needless to say I will be subscribing immediately to avoid the wrath of Scylla.

The instrumentals are ripped from the official originals so I don't think I am able to since it's not my owned content, but perhaps one day I'll figure out how or commission original instrumentals.

The first part seems hopeless, in the original there is such a doomed, cold confidence. Meeting the inevitable. And the fact that you had a different vibe in your song, after hours of listening, I even completely liked it!
