      I own three different versions of this song on instructional DVD, and I have to admit this is the best one I've heard yet. The way you blended the melody with the chords after the introductory chords is very well orchestrated. This video not only reminds me of why I started learning Jazz, it reminds of why I started learning guitar. Thanks for such a fantastic video. This is certainly one I am going to learn.

    He started out the tune with some in-appropriate shell voicings; but by the time he put down that chord melody the tune suddenly became very interesting and ended in the 80+%.

    hi, how did you get that tone from the guitar? are you using some slight distorsion?

      In this video I'm playing a Gibson ES-175 through a Fender Tone Masters Twin Reverb with a Hall of Fame II reverb. No distortion though...
