Learning this for 2 weeks now. The practice really polish my weakness i.e. flying fingers, stiff pinky, alternate picking. Im playing at 0.75x speed but i promised myself to learn this completely and increase my speed when im ready. Thank you very much for pushing me out of my comfort zone.
The best exercise I’ve found, learning guitar and especially jazz guitar is exactly what you’re doing. Take a chunk of the song, slow it down, get it right. Dedication and discipline and we’ll get there. 🎉 I’m looking forward to hearing your version and I’ll share mine as well!
I appreciate having the standard notation since I have to transpose almost all jazz standards. The instrument I play (tenor ukulele with a low G tuning) lowest note is G below middle C.

Great rhythms in the solo! Too easy for guys to get stuck with interesting notes but boring straight 8th rhythms.
