Saw Jim Lauderdale several years back in Albuquerque and was truly amazed....he just gets better and this collaboration/project proves it. Thanks Paste Magazine.
Saw Jim in a small room that sat no more than 50 about a week ago in Tomball, TX. Have listened to him for years but somehow missed his brilliance. What a show this must have been too with Buddy. If you get a chance to see either of them live (especially solo) just do it cuz it's right!
That will be a tough one as Julie either writes or co-writes at least half of the songs on any of his records. The next are cowrites with other songwriters, he's not really known for writing alone. Then are the covers. What I would love to hear is a new Julie Miller solo record, that's long over due. Until I'll take a Buddy and Julie record.
Incredible talent & an incredible record!
Wow, this is not country, this not r‘n‘roll, this is not folk, it is just a super mix of every musical direction, rough & rowdy, great music!
Two of my very favorites. Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale.
Wonderful....thanks guys..
Love Buddy & Jim. This is a great performance. Thanks for posting.

A bit like me with Jim as I met him last week and he's quickly become one of my most favorite artists of all time.

Not used to seeing a ton of Orange Amps at a country show. Thems is chunky Rock-'n'-roll amps, so interesting to hear them clean.
probably there for another act. Buddy is playing through his Swart amps. Steel player has the Peavey. cant see the bass rig
The world could use a new Buddy Miller SOLO album soon. No partners or duets or tributes. New solo album. Am I asking too much?
