Marty I have been playing since I was 12 years old, I'm 23 now. I have given up and put the guitar down a ton of times but I've always loved music and playing around, nothing serious. Well lately I just got this crazy urge. This crazy kick to play. And man, I've been killing it - thanks to you. You've been teaching and helping me progress through my beginnerish/intermediate-ish/experienced-ish troubles. I've been going through a ton of your solo tutorials and learning them one by one. I remember watching your videos back in junior high man and I just can't thank you enough for sticking with it and helping countless, and I mean COUNTLESS amounts of people learn how to play music. Music is one of mankind's greatest creations and it really means a lot to me that you go above and beyond to showcase it to the world and those who will listen. Well Marty I'm happy to say I will be tuning in for the next indefinite amount of videos so thank you now and thank you a million times over.
Oh man!! Just now seeing this. SO FREAKIN' COOL that you got to hang with Buddy Miller and talk guitars with him! I have been listening to him (and his wife Julie Miller) for a long time, and he's worked with so many musicians I love. Saw him in Boulder live and in the round with Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, and the Milk Carton Kids (Patty Griffin was supposed to be there too, but she was sick!) - easily one of the top 5 best shows I've ever seen. Thanks for doing this video!
Nice video Marty! Been a Buddy Miller fan for years! Watching him go through some of his sharp guitars and just talk about music in general is just so cool! Thank You!
Great video Marty & all of those guitars sounded terrific! Buddy appears to be a real stand up kind of guy. Really enjoyed listening to him................Thanks
Marty brother, thanks for these "Guitar Tours" videos. I love them. Buddy Miller is a great guitarist who seems to work with everybody in Nashville. It seems like every concert I watch coming out of Nashville have Buddy, Don Was and Kenny Aronoff backing up the headliners. Keep up the great work!
Wow, was waiting for him to pull out the old Gibson’s and fenders... but was blown away by the the other guitars and how unique their sound was! It’s always impressive to see people who know the sound they want and know how to get it!
Thank you again Marty for these AMAZING segments 👍 There is no way I would ever be exposed to these stories if it weren’t for your Guitar Tour shows ❤️ Thank you so much 😍
I discovered Buddy (and Julie) when I went to The Birchmere to see Steve Earle and they opened up, then Buddy played guitar with Earle. I love Steve Earle but I loved Buddy even more, such a brilliant musician.
Hey man, t I love watching your channel Im constantly practicing, learning from your talent and i aspire to find my way as you did🎸🎼keep rocking, your channel helps many peeps
Love this video. I'm a huge Buddy Miller fan! However the Octave 12 string was mis-identified. It's a TEO SS-12 Octave 12 string by TEO Guitars. Again great video.
The more I see and hear of Buddy Miller, the more I like him. I would love to sit down with him for a few hours and just talk about guitars and music. I'll bet he has all kinds of interesting stories to tell.
Is it my imagination or is he holding one Gretsch & the cutaway is a whole different Gretsch? He's holding a Country Gentleman (is that a 6122? anyway it has painted on f holes) & the cutaway looks more like a 6120 (genuine f holes) although the floating subtitle thing still says Country Gentleman.
Thanks for watching "Guitar Tours" and supporting MartyMusic, FREE courses at my site too! www.MartyMusic.com
Awesome video...Buddy you are a legend. Thanks for sharing🎸🎸🎸😀😀😀

I bought my Swart amp because of Buddy, when I saw him on TV with Robert Plant.

This must have been loaded twice. I "liked" earlier. Marty: Thank you! Fantastic! Buddy Miller is part of Americana. - Chris
I discovered Buddy (and Julie) when I went to The Birchmere to see Steve Earle and they opened up, then Buddy played guitar with Earle. I love Steve Earle but I loved Buddy even more, such a brilliant musician.

So cool, I could listen to pro’s talk all day about the tools they use to
get it done. Doesn’t always have to
be a $5k Les Paul. Thanks
This one is really entertaining and fun.
Love this video. I'm a huge Buddy Miller fan! However the Octave 12 string was mis-identified. It's a TEO SS-12 Octave 12 string by TEO Guitars. Again great video.
Tx Marty keep this thing going. I know it means travel but for us in RUclips Land it is worth it.
If I ever meet you I will hug you so damn hard. I’ve spent two years tracking down his tone!
What a cool guy.
Thanks Marty ,I love this..Six for 300 dollars! Holy crap!!
Wedgle’s is still in Denver, and one of the coolest music stores (it’s a pawn shop) I’ve ever seen.
Would love to know what your recording chain for recording guitars?
Awesome
Please Marty part 4 of nothing else matters!!!
Please how long will it be? Love your videos by the way
The more I see and hear of Buddy Miller, the more I like him. I would love to sit down with him for a few hours and just talk about guitars and music. I'll bet he has all kinds of interesting stories to tell.
It was an honor to spend time with him. He's contributed to so many classic records and amazing careers. I treasure these experiences!
PLEASE DO FRANK ZAPPA apostrophe plus solo I have a guitar show coming up and I can’t seem to find the notes
nice video!
Is this the real Marty or the other one? Regardless, you both do great vids. Thanks guys.
ha ha ha you'll never know!!!
Leave the video of the jam in! These interview episodes are great, but an extra 10 minutes of jamming wouldn’t hurt.
Nice!
I have a 52 Kay 40 that could use some help. I may look into the Scott B thing.
Marty could you do a tutorial to anything by Tyler Childers? All of his stuff is gold. True country. Keep rockin!
The Phantom is actually a TEO version of that guitar. You should correct that to be fair to the builder.
Hi Marty can you teach Frank zappa Joe's garage plz and thank you for the inspiration that you have given me😆😆
Marty vs. Marty Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers
That is on the docket
Is it my imagination or is he holding one Gretsch & the cutaway is a whole different Gretsch? He's holding a Country Gentleman (is that a 6122? anyway it has painted on f holes) & the cutaway looks more like a 6120 (genuine f holes) although the floating subtitle thing still says Country Gentleman.
Steve Earl got the guitar he wanted. Haha! What a cool life he leads.
Do a Marty vs Marty, with Tom Morello and Wes Borland
Do you ever tour in Canada..like Toronto?
Kicking myself that I didn't get a Jerry Jones baritone when they were (relatively) easy to get.
Could you do a gutair lesson on love buzz

That mando-guitar might look like a toilet seat but the sound is the shit.
has anyone ever seen miller without a hat ???
He's in an old Jim Lauderdale video with a suit and no hat! Can't remember which one at the moment.
By nirvana
That's Buddy's house. Still have the massive stack of old compressors in the corner?
1st
Those guitars first are pretty cool, but they also sound like shit. Sorry, but they didn't sound good, at all. The baritones sounded neat though.
They sound much better in a mix than they do by themselves, just listen to some of Buddy's music.
@@jeffwolinski2659 Buddy is great, even when just playing acoustic sets. Marty also. But THIS sounded terrible. Still better than I sound though! :)
Buddy is one the finest....
