Just started playing BDK 3 days ago and its been pretty fun. I wiped for the first time (and second) in a +4 AA. First time was on first pull with melee standing on both sides and getting stunned (you had quicker reactions than I did at 2:04.) I pulled more conservatively the second time and pretty much was able to solo it till we had just a couple of the larger flowers left. I think I might have just run out of steam a bit and of course didn't weave a DS were I should have. I wanted to see how good BDKs are pulling that and it looks like you almost had both of the exact same issues. Makes me feel a whole lot better. One question your dps waited to let you get aggro, is that normal for them (and pugs) to do when it comes to BDK's? I usually don't need dps to wait when I'm a bear but as a BDK it feels like I need everything to get to me before I use my burst damage for aggro as its a one time use on a long CD unlike Incarn or RotS for bear. I can't count the number of times I've had dps open up on mobs as I whack them once and move past to gather more in lower keys.
It's not tank specific. These kinds of pulls get more common in groups with higher rating and are usually happening at certain points in the dungeons (e.g. dungeon start with bloodlust), because you want to group up more trash efficently. The most efficient way is to trigger all of the packs you want quickly and let them collaps on you. It's also rather safe for the tank, because running through each group one by one as a bdk is slow and dangerous. But when doing the efficient pulls, dps players need to wait, since you don't have aggro on all mobs :)
No problem, that's an addon called OPie where you can create these rings and bind them to a key. E.g. when I click my middle mouse button my def cd ring opens and then I can move my mouse on the skill I want activated, so when I hold middle mouse and pull up I use AMS. Very useful and very fast. When I click ALT+middle mouse the mount wheel opens :)
