Agree 💯! That would be my preferred 2 card setup. I think those 2 cards can provide great value, experiences and easier to justify for most. Thanks for the overview and information. Keep up the great work 🫵
I love how you easily get value from each of these cards with one event for each card each year. One flight with a friend or spouse and one free night stay. If I was doing a two card setup for myself at this time I would probably go with the Delta Reserve and Hilton Aspire but that’s just because I want regular access to the Delta Skyclub as I have monthly trips between airports that have one but don’t have any priority pass lounges. If my home airport had a Priority pass lounge I would probably feel differently. However if I was building a trifecta I would probably build out Delta Reserve, Venture X and Savor One. So many benefits that don’t have too much overlap and similarly value can easily be gained by two events each year. Interestingly the annual fee of this trifecta is the same as an AMEX trifecta but without dozens of events every year to get value. You gain many benefits that the AMEX Trifecta doesn’t give you and only miss out on a few that you probably wouldn’t use like the preferred cruise program or private jet program. A lot people forget that the Delta Platinum card comes with Cell Phone protection. It’s the cheapest card with AMEX that includes this benefit.
Thank you so much for the video about the Delta and Hilton cards. i started using Amex cards last year for my travel expenses and will definitely consider adding these cards to my portfolio. Continue the good work and look forward to future videos.
I have the Amex Gold and the Amazon Business Prime card as my Amex travel setup. If I was to get any other card for travel in the Amex network with no foreign fees, it would be the no fee Amex Hilton card.
@@dannyshep Thank you, I have a Prime account, but on the personal side, I applied as a sole prop and was approved for a $3000 starting limit. I also have the Blue Business Plus that started at $2000 limit back in June 2022 also as a sole prop.

Great combo! Can't go wrong with the AMEX Hilton Aspire and the Delta Platinum is a solid CC. Thanks for the info + video!
