This good. Thanks however would like to see the value of stock sold, absolute return and annual return(profit)against each sold item on fifo based. Thhis is very tricky may need VBA code. Hope you can explain this very well.
No it does not require VBA. If you tweak the logic a bit, you will get even cost of goods sold. Anyway sir, you have given me material/topic for next video
@@ExcelKida The first part of my doubt is clearly cleared in simple manner in this video. Thank you for the effort. But my second part of my doubt as like he said avg value of stock sold i.e realised profit is still in doubt. Please me a seperate video too. Thank you.
@@ExcelKida I have calculated calculated the value of stock sold and absolute return. I can mail the file to you . Please share the mail address. However the annual return is still remain unsolved. Please help.
You will have to setup separate sheet for calculating sale value & then you can arrive at profit/return. Actually idea behind this video was to explain formulation of FIFO method in excel. Once you understand this then it becomes building block for further analysis
Very useful ji.. This should be productwise and date should be chronological right? If we hv multiproducts should this be repeated for all or is there a way out? Thanks, make more useful videos that pertains to accounting profession.. So that we can automate the task..
For product-wise I have planned a separate video, where I will be using this video as a starting point, & only scaling-up of this logic for multi-product will be explained (to keep video short)
Even that can be achieved. But only catch is that example will become complex as you need to use INDEX, MATCH function. I am planning to demonstrate that logic via Power Query, where you have proper step wise implementation
very simple and effective process for remining stock on hand valuation, whihc can often become a painful process
Simple and practical, Keep up the good work! Greetings from Indonesia.
Thank You, Brother !
please share vedieo with multiple items and different rates so nice of you which includes opening stock
Sure, will plan for this requirement too, since many people have requested this scenario
@@ExcelKida can i talk to you ..i had one doubt regarding this and its urgent
@@ExcelKida i am also a CA. Could we connect via mail
Yes sure. My email & WhatsApp number is mentioned at the end of every video
Finally found something useful....thnx👍
I was waiting for this video thank u Sir

Yes sure. I will for sure plan a Power Query based video for multiple items

Super
Make video on share short term and long term calculation from transaction data
That logic is a bit complex, as it requires lot/batch splitting
What if you have multiple product codes? The example you give is the xyz . code
Nếu có nhiều mã hàng thì làm sao hả bạn. Ví dụ bạn đưa ra là mã xyz.
Even that can be achieved. But only catch is that example will become complex as you need to use INDEX, MATCH function.
