5 pieces of gold is marvellous especially when that harsh cold wind is blowing that hard sweetheart. That's the first I have seen the Axiom and it is certainly worth having in the search for gold. That is an enormous area, and so peaceful, a wonderful place to detect in (when it's not blowing a gale lol). Hi warren ,did you use the iron check to help you with your diggings ,i have a 6000 and am in a very trashy area its killing me having to dig rusty tacks and nails ,where i could just check and move on
Yes the iron check works very well on the DD coils but of course you need to use caution if the gold in your area is encrusted in ironstone. We almost exclusively use the mono coils, because they are so sensitive, and a big rare earth magnet or two on our picks in trashy situations. Cheers and Happy Fossicking! Warren.
