I’ve never herd a review/walkthrough like this. I feel like even though never playing yet, that we learn the do and dont. I appreciate it and thank you
I absolutely love your review and how it is broken down! I too got an early access copy and have been loving sharing the game with my community! I subbed as well 😊❤
I have watched Faefarm videos from Eeowna, Fleur, and Kanzalone. I really enjoyed your take on it, and your delivery is every bit as polished as Fleur and Eeowna. I was floored to see your subscriber count. I can't wait to see what you have to say about other cozy games. I'm playing Palia right now until Faefarm drops, but I definitely have some points of frustration there. I'll have to watch your video on making money in Faefarm next :).
First time watcher here. Wow! Thank you. Your video helped me decide on what game to buy this month. After watching this I immediately pre-ordered Fae Farm (instead of Story of Seasons). Your voice is pleasing, your explanations and humor are spot-on and the video content you used is engaging. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. 👏😃
Review and run down is very detailed, so thank you for that. I wasnt sure at first, but now I am... there is no way I'm spending $80 plus tax for this game 😕 And before anyone says it doesn't cost that much, I'm Canadian...its $80 plus tax in Canadian dollars.
Holy wow. I didn't know that was the price difference between the 2. I really want it for switch (I enjoy being able to relax and play...not sit at my computer lol) Thank you!
If I’m correct the switch price includes an expansion pack/deluxe version of the game! On pc you can choose to buy the game w or without the upgrade, but they haven’t included this option for switch, hence the price difference
Great video, think it will help a lot of people decide whether or not the game is for them. I have preordered for it for the switch, cannot wait to play !
Thank you for this video. I’m trying to decide if I want to buy it. You mentioned that it also has RPG and I was hoping it had some of that in it. I love farming plus RPG and the previews a few months ago showed a little of it..
I am here watching because I can only buy one game and I am deciding between FaeFarm and Harvest Moon Winds of Anthos. I thought this game was too expensive but I see there is more to it than I realized. Still struggling to decide though.
I'll be honest, I was a bit hesitant about this game. I've played a lot of farming games and they mostly feel the same to me. Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, My Time in Portia, and now Fae Farm. I am a bit worried it might be one of those repetitive games where every day you wake up and perform the same tasks (feeding the animals, watering the crops, etc), and it just feels boring to me. I would much rather play this on the Switch, because that's just what the Switch is for to me, these types of games, especially during winter, but 59,99€ is indeed a hefty price to pay for a game that I might get bored of quickly. Seeing this review helped a lot. I'm still not entirely convinced, but some features and mechanics you showed here definitely eased my worries to some extent. I hope they also continue to patch up some stuff (like having the chicken walking through that fence as if nothing was there) and add lots of new content for free throughout the first year after release.
Oh I already pre ordered it for switch and also steam this game is so cool and looks like so much fun I will play alot i put time into animsl crossing new horizons snd slso stardew valley they are fun thsnks. For the advice 😊😊
Thank you for your review ! I was looking for more information about this game, but I still have questions : - Have you or someone in the comments tested the crossplay multiplayer? I'm looking to play this game on my PC with my gf on her switch , and I want to be sure to have a decent experience regarding the price of the game (which is pretty expensive imo) - Is it possible to custom/minimize the UI? I think there is too much informations on screen, once your know how to jump, how to open each menu, it's quite annoying to see those.
Thank you for going more in depth on the features of this game! I’m still deciding on whether or not to preorder but this looks like it’s going to be awesome! Also how long is a day in this game?
From the video footage it looks like it moves time like rune factory where each in game minute = one real life second. So each in game hour is a real time minute. I’m guessing it’ll be about 20-30 mins a day depending on what pauses the game (like menus) and when you pass out (if there’s a pass out limit)
I'm probably never going to play this unless it is ported to XSX and then on Game Pass but this is sort of cozy game-crack that I love to get lost in once or twice a year. I will say the way that the game is unabashedly "inspired" by other games in the genre is almost too on the nose. In less than 60 seconds I saw Stardew, Animal Crossing, and even a bit of Rune Factory but it has the polish and UI of a well done mobile game, the type of mobile game that is a just a pure rip of older games mechanics and dodgy localization.
good video but i think one more thing you still dont know is that you dont actually need to switch between your tools! for example clicking on a rock automatically equip your axe
Animal Crossing had a hefty price too when it came out. I am like 85% likely to buy this. I have a of other games like this on my Switch. I have Stardew Valley, My Time at Portia, Animal Crossing, and I'm probably going to get Palia when it comes to Switch this holiday.
It's a standard price for games nowadays. I could buy 3 weeks of shopping with that money... It's sad games don't really consider people who don't have a ton of money nowadays, but I understand the developers need to be paid. I will be buying it, just have to save up enough money first.
Your forgetting that NPCS have limited dialogue, they say the same thing most times. There is hardly any romance. The quests become the same after awhile if you pick them up all at once. The gameplay becomes repetitive (not like usual) and the festivals aren’t even there. ( barely called festivals). Where I respect you review I feel it was deeply biased. Though I enjoyed the game. Full price for this is a scam.
the NPC dialogue is absolutely very repetitive! I enjoyed the romance as with each date you go on you learn so much about the persons life story, how they grew up, etc. and then the actual wedding is so sweet. (Finally got there) everyone is going to feel different about the game based on their preferences and that’s just what my opinion was after being 20 hours deep. not biased at all, just for me personally I enjoy it 😊
I get 40 is alot but has everyone forgot every sos games....rune factory...my time at games....harvest moon games are all 50 or more? So I don't really see 40 being a problem at all. I don't even see 60 a problem on switch seeing as the switch includes 2 dlc coming in dec and 1 early 2024.
I've got nearly 30 games on switch and the only one I've paid that kind of price for is BoTW. Loads of cool indie games for 20 and under, think I've only paid over 20 twice.
This has nothing to do with Nintendo, though. They are a separate dev team and the only reason it costs "more" on the Switch is because they didn't have time to add the base version. On steam there are two versions the base game for $40 and then the deluxe game ($60) which includes two future DLCs. The switch version has only the deluxe version so the DLCs are included.
It actually does have to do with Nintendo. They get a % of every sale, regardless if they developed it or not. Higher priced games earn them more money so of course they don’t want the cheaper version on the platform. It would literally take one day to add it to the shop. It’s well known throughout the gaming community that Nintendo is greedy af lol. They’ll make any excuse to make it seem like there’s a reason for them conveniently making more money and it seems like you believed the latest one.
@traceyxxrose7454 the game devs are the ones who said they didn't have enough time to submit it to Nintendo as it was a kind of last minute change. The initial release was ALWAYS $60USD
Supprised by everyones positive opinion after seeing this to be honest. This looks so ultra basic... it was said to be imaginary fairy world and everything is so boring, classic animals, the usual crops, world boring. Why pay such money to play the same game as many others? There are free mobile games that bring more to the table.

such a polished review for a small channel! good job!
thank you so much! 🩶
I wanna play! This looks super cool. I like being able to interact with a lot of stuff
you should give it a try! the world is SO immersive
I just got my switch and i'm planning on a having Fae farm as my first farming game🥰
nice choice for a first one, it’s so fun!
Great video, think it will help a lot of people decide whether or not the game is for them. I have preordered for it for the switch, cannot wait to play !
Great review!! Looking forward to playing tomorrow. Followed!
Great review! Very excited to try this one.
Looks amazing but I’m a little hesitated that it cost 60 for switch..

Definitely getting this! Thank you!
would anyone say this game is similar to disney dreamlight valley? i really like the way this game looks and play disney a lot
Greta video Stromie! :) Keep up the good work!
80% of the chance I will buy this game, I physically am so excited to play it!! Thanks for they reviews :)
Jack has the most manly mustache
team Jack for life
Cool video! It was a great look at the game with all that it incldes. I'm not sure yet if I will get this one or Sea of Stars!!!

Game looks intersting, not really my type of game, but seems like it is going to be popular! Like and FW Stormy

Damn I kinda wanna play now and I don’t even like games like this. The devs should bring you on there pr team.

I'm so pumped. 🎉
I want to play on nintendo switch, but it seems too expensive for what it is. For 29 I would buy it
can u rename ur character and/or ur town? i always get stuck overthinking names when games dont let you change it later😭
Watching all these like im NOT gonna go and buy it anyways 😂
Yeah, Fae farm looks good but I'll probably wait for a sale. Lol
it’s worth it on sale 100%
I read a review where it said that the inhabitants have no character that distinguishes them, they are all the same. It is true?
I allready pre ordered it for my Switch, couldn't resist. Been playing Wylde Flowers latly and I love it.
good video but i think one more thing you still dont know is that you dont actually need to switch between your tools! for example clicking on a rock automatically equip your axe
I did actually mention that towards the beginning 😊 I LOVE not having to scroll through the different tools
I'm happy to hear u don't think the fishing is hard😂. I cannot understand why some ppl think this mechanic is hard...its extremely simple
Animal Crossing had a hefty price too when it came out. I am like 85% likely to buy this. I have a of other games like this on my Switch. I have Stardew Valley, My Time at Portia, Animal Crossing, and I'm probably going to get Palia when it comes to Switch this holiday.

I want to play it so bad but it will be so expensive here 😭 probably 4x the price in my currency 😢
Wow I'm shocked they gave a key such a small channel.
Thank you for the review. Please let the characters be moddable because those heads are awful lol
you get used to them eventually 🤣
The designs are kind of nostalgic to me, as they remind me a lot of the chibi models from the MySims series.
Does the multiplayer aspect let you visit random peoples farms or do they have to be on your friends list already?
I believe you need to be friends through your Phoenix labs account

Did you play the entire game?? It hasn't even fully released yet. How can you know about everything already?
@@ivanamendez478 I was given access to the game prior to the release by Phoenix Labs ☺
@StormieDae of course! I was replying to the main comment who stated your review was biased. How could they know that if they haven't played the game?
I already bought it😂
want it, cant afford it (switch)
what’s the point of fences if chickens go straight through them? 😂
that’s a great point lolol seems like they’re mostly for decor
Pretty realistic tbf, chickens are masterful escape artists.
It is only £30 on P.C
Look exactly like Sun Haven but 3D, roblox characters and more expensive
The harvesting part looks so tiring - the need to click on each single crop and wait for the animation to end is a big NO for me. :(
60 on switch haha no way.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I get 40 is alot but has everyone forgot every sos games....rune factory...my time at games....harvest moon games are all 50 or more? So I don't really see 40 being a problem at all. I don't even see 60 a problem on switch seeing as the switch includes 2 dlc coming in dec and 1 early 2024.
Plus people forget the deluxe also has 2 DLCs. The other games at this price point aren't offering that.
I agree, I think that most people just aren’t used to cozy games being triple A title price point.
It doesn't look like a aaa game
@wronggeometry so is sos or rune factory not considered triple A? Cuz this game looks better then their games for sure
My time at sandrock is $24.99 and Portia is $29.99 on steam. Re: Legend and Coral Island is $24.99.
Games on Nintendo Switch are normally $59.99 no matter the genre unfortunately. 😢
this is true, and they don’t seem to go on sale nearly as often as other platforms
@StormieDae lol nintendo prices! And if it's playstation it's 79.99 !! But they have more sales to make up for it.
I've got nearly 30 games on switch and the only one I've paid that kind of price for is BoTW. Loads of cool indie games for 20 and under, think I've only paid over 20 twice.
Here in Canada is $79.00 for the switch so your prices are cheaper
wow!!
No it isn't cheaper. $80CAD is equal to $60USD. That's how currency conversion works.
$1USD is worth $1.35CAD
Worth the price on steam, not worth the price on Nintendo. Nintendo is so greedy it’s baffling sometimes and it’s such a shame..
This has nothing to do with Nintendo, though. They are a separate dev team and the only reason it costs "more" on the Switch is because they didn't have time to add the base version.

Looks good, they should've made it a bit cheaper imo. It's going to hurt them more than help.
Costs to much for me.
Supprised by everyones positive opinion after seeing this to be honest. Why pay such money to play the same game as many others? There are free mobile games that bring more to the table.
This actually isn’t true at all. Nothing about this is the usual. Especially when the magic kicks in.
I hope they atleast release a demo. It’s so pricey! 🫣
