For those that don't understand, Yellowstone was a giant volcano that collapsed in on itself. There are actually three or four volcanoes in that area that ALL collapsed. So before this so-called disaster could happen, we would need to see a NEW volcano being built in that area. It would be a very long process that could take decades to accomplish. For example, Krakatoa exploded back in 1883 and that explosion was heard all around the world. 70% of the island was destroyed. In 1927 a fisherman discovered a new volcano was forming from the remnant of the caldera (underwater). From this example we can see that a catastrophic event in Yellowstone will take a long time to occur. Just because we have earthquakes there means nothing. Earthquakes happen every day.

The hundreds of earthquakes being experienced is actually a good thing not a bad thing. Each earthquake dissipates energy that otherwise would be continuously adding up to what could be a single catastrophic event. A continuation of all these minor quakes could be dissipating massive amounts of energy that could delay a major event for hundreds or even thousands of more years.

Yellowstone isn't driven by plate tectonics. The volcanism is driven by a mantle plume currently sitting under Yellowstone. The only part plate tectonics has played is causing a SW-NE migration in the centre of volcanic activity over time as the N American Plate moves over the stationary mantle plume.

You know it's a mystery they haven't reported the disaster in Antarctica. Half of Antarctica is covered by all these red pools that look like blood. But it's not blood it's organisms they that are deadly and don't know how to stop the spread of. The antarctica is melting fast because the snow isn't white it's red. Huge ice caps are falling into the sea. And they have no way to stop it This program was on NASA s files.

What areas would be affected if Yellowstone erupts?
Those parts of the surrounding states of Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming that are closest to Yellowstone would be affected by pyroclastic flows, while other places in the United States would be impacted by falling ash (the amount of ash would decrease with distance from the eruption site).

I just read the headline. Are they concerned about the earthquake swarm 37 years ago? Or the one 36 years ago. Maybe it is the one from either 35, 34, 33, 32, or 31 years ago. Maybe it is one of the two swarms from 28, 24, 22, 19, 16, or 12 years ago? Or one the the THREE swarms from 9, 6, or 3 years ago? Or one of the swarms from all the years I did not mention as there are earthquake swarms every year. Yellowstone usually gets between 1500 and 200 quakes per year. That is between 4 and 5 each and every day. and it has been happening for more than 250,000 years. So, without watching this vid, we already know that there is no Yellowstone official giving nay serious warning bout impending doom from the volcano.

I think the Yellowstone Volcano mouth might get wider. This happens every time there is an earthquake. Instead of the lava going up it goes back to the mouth of the Volcano. Inside the Volcano hole should be wider and deeper now.

Where is the safest place to be if Yellowstone erupts?
Based on the available information, here are some areas that may be relatively safer in the event of a Yellowstone eruption: East Coast: States along the East Coast, such as Florida, New York, and Maine, may receive a smaller amount of volcanic ash fallout compared to areas closer to Yellowstone [1].

  • @duaneross9271

if it goes we all might as well kiss our ass bye bye. Those on the east coast it will only take longer. Us in Idaho haven't a prayer.
