Many performers use the Rasta image but don't want the discipline and/or work ethic. Rasta historically gone through so much work, tragedy, strife and whoa. Good people want to protect what they built.

Tell dem rasta, some people want to tell you what to, and what not to do. At the end of the day, we all have our own responsibility. We have to do what we have to do. I'm not saying we're going to do just about anything, but we need to survive just like everyone else.
With all due respect, all man fall short of the glory of Jah, but I'm hearing zero mention of His Holiness Haile Selassie I who inform all tings for Rasta.
Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Elect of God. JAH RASTAFARI.
@@rayniceeSelassie worshipped Christ.
The so-called trap Dancehall gets a bad rap prepared there's so much conscience and godly music coming out of the trap beat
New found appreciation for mi artist big up kabaka
I asked Kabaka why he didn't choose more Black places to perform when he was touring through Texas, he gave a reasonable response. Rasta is similar to a religion, so the expectation is that there is a certain level of "holiness" in the music they present. Every part of a man's life is not holy, but it makes sense that the part that we celebrate and put on display is the best part. David killed his fellow warrior to have his wife, yet he was still called a man after God's heart. David doesn't celebrate his indiscretion, it is recorded as a warning. Reggae is many things, for some it is just a rhythm, and you can put any slackness on top of it, for others it's a powerful force, and we know how to handle it...
Like the conversations
When put self to words label people seems to want to control u and tell u what to do.
There's complexity in the simplicity, yes in reggae. The fusion of reggae isn't new but this trap dancehall is crazy. I mean how can you just let go reggae?.
Yes we know music will evolve and change what I've noticed is that most of the traphall sounds the same. Where is the creativity?.
Remember Rasta is not religion and i see society pushing it in religion
Its too revolutionary for the masses I believe
Good job correcting this Rastaman.
"My lord again reggae is jamaican music and the beautiful skin people them ok talking about people making artists limited them self before people never was sing about rasta in the music like that bob marley changed all that and turned reggae into rasta music 🎶 as way clive hunt say when the artists them get little new money that they never add before they change 😅
I don't think he wants to br completely honest about the question
Who is perfect cast the first stone. Who is the judge? Haile Selassie I The First.
