0:28 No shit i just saw this video last week the butthole surfers With a bunch of acid You could tell the singer was fried And the bass player was for sure frying eggs in his head His pupils are massive and he has a hard time operating his amp And while gibby is splashing alcohol on the crash so it can blast fire balls onto the air The bass player is transfixed And apparently thats not even the trippy part The show was on 4th of july and the police shut them down and showed up on horseback From all accounts of people that were there it was fucked Butthole surfers were so good And victims family too they were another band with crazy underrated guitar work And no means no from Canada
So this is a recently 🎥 video? Or unreleased. Was listening to the 5Years of Brutalism deluxe edition on Spotify rn. This band, Sports Team, Fontaines D.C., & Yard Act are my favorite 🇬🇧 rock acts in the last 3 to 5 years. 🎸 🤘🏼 ✌🏻 🇺🇸
These guys came to Toronto a little while back for two back-to-back shows. They were amazing, but what still sticks out was when they started a “Fuck The Queen” chant with the crowd. This was the first of two shows on Sept 7. The queen died the next day. So that evening, without skipping a beat, Joe Talbot gets the entire room to chant “Fuck The King”. Absolute perfection.
that's amazing, my show had some great moments too (pulling fan on stage to sing Prince in his hometown, feeding a guitar cable all the way up to the balcony bc Lee went up there and it came unplugged). I love how they make each a unique memorable experience
I was there in Toronto on the second night, thought "Fuck the King" was hilarious but had no idea they were chanting "Fuck the Queen" the night before 😂
official soundtrack of my generation. We are 30 to 35 we worked for nothing, just to have a flat and some food. we have nothing than just our work on somtimes a lil hope in the weekend.
This was my third most played song on Spotify this year and I only heard it for the first time last year. Sometimes when you really connect to a song before seeing its music video it can be incongruous to your feelings and perceptions of it but this was just magnifuckingfique.
This song didn’t need a MV, and I remember being a bit wary about it. There are few things as frustrating as a beautiful, meaningful song ruined by a video that ends up being associated with it from then on. THIS VIDEO THOUGH… wonderful on all counts. Stunning, thoughtful, powerful, but didn’t take away from the music and didn’t try to insinuate any of its own interpretations of the song into the MV. 10/10 ⭐️
IDLES just go straight to your soul. I've no words to describe them to others but as complex, simple, deep. And the fucking best. The Detroit show kicked ass!
This is the first song I heard of Idles. When I heard it I was in a bad way in my life. It was a breath of fresh air to know somebody gets me. And I'll follow thier masterpieces til the end. SEREFE🍺
@@billybud6448 Nice toxic comment mate.... He didn't say or imply he was special, though. He just didn't know that there are more like him, he felt alone and they opened his eyes and showed him that he is indeed not alone ;-) You're just here for a bar fight aren't you?
Fucking powerful. I love it. You're music, specifically this one, television, and Mr. motivator have done wonders for my depression and anxiety. Seeing you all live in Phoenix was life changing! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! -Joe Cal-Fucking-Zaghe
Found this band just this year and fell in love. Saw them in LA this year and had to travel to Columbus to see them again lmao idk why I thought I had the money for that!
Discovered Idles through an old coworker. I really wish I could thank her lmao. She also told me another band but I can't for the life of me remember the name 🙃
Spotify has a 5 Year Deluxe Album Release of 'Brutalism' with every track live as well at a "Live from Introducing At Glastonbury". Some of the banter with the audience is 🤣 asf. These 🇬🇧 Gents are mint. 🤘🏼🎸✌🏻🇺🇸✝️

I've been getting into IDLES only this year. I haven't been dissappointed, they're fucking fantastic.
Yes!
See them live! The energy they bring to their shows is incredible.
The “yea-e-yeah” at the end will never *not* get screamed until I lose my voice in the car 🖤
They have to be the best band to come out of the UK in the last decade.
Easily 👌👍🍀
Out of England, the Irish don't want us, nor the Welsh or the Scots 😘
So glad they decided to release this, this has always been my favourite song. The lyrics and vocals are haunting. Amazing.
