This was the first of two shows on Sept 7. The queen died the next day. So that evening, without skipping a beat, Joe Talbot gets the entire room to chant “Fuck The King”. Absolute perfection.
that's amazing, my show had some great moments too (pulling fan on stage to sing Prince in his hometown, feeding a guitar cable all the way up to the balcony bc Lee went up there and it came unplugged). I love how they make each a unique memorable experience

Stunning, thoughtful, powerful, but didn’t take away from the music and didn’t try to insinuate any of its own interpretations of the song into the MV. 10/10 ⭐️
