    NB - people such as Dr Scott McLachlan, Peter Elston, Dr McConville, Prof Richard Gill, Sarrita Adams of Science on Trial, and others, were doing amazing work on this case well before the New Yorker article was published (albeit it was likely in gestation throughout that period) - and in some cases before the 2023 trial had even concluded.

      doctor briery knew about the sewage leak in the neo natal unit in 2012, before lucy worked at the chester hospital!! i don't know if he reported the leak to the hospital management but it seemed to get worse from june 2015 to spring 2016, the same period lucy was alleged to have 'killed' the babies!! coincidence or the reason they died?
      bear in mind that lucy did warn the hospital of a risk to the health of the babies in the neo natal unit of the chester hospital!!

      Yes I've been following Sarita Adams and Peter Elson from the very beginning a few months before the first trial. They should be given full credit as the New York times article was more an assemblage of what they'd already said. The fair used to them it presented the case in a more digestible format for lay people.

      I have been wanting to do something to help Lucy Letby and all I can think to do is to watch a few of the RUclips channels each day dedicated to researching the false circumstantial evidence. I can use the knowledge to spread the word and debate online some of the false claims on the killer nurse videos that are around and the channels dedicated to saying she's guilty. I can like the videos for her innocence and like people's comments and leave a comment here and there and help the views go up by watching. I signed a petition. I am really happy there are people like you with the brains and good character to do this detailed reviewing of evidence and news articles. I won't let this go for the rest of my life until she is free. What could and should come out in the inquiry is the laziness, incompetence and bullying of the consultants and doctors, the disregard for the real health of these babies, the shortages of staff and disrespect for the nurses who had to struggle on without adequate support. In other words the appalling care given by the unit and its inability to cope with even earlier neonates that were only there for the duration Lucy was supposed to have gone on a killing spree. Maybe Thirlwall might be able to put two and two together finally if she has a brain cell.

    Remember the really big hurdle will be not the medical profession / nhs / hospital administrators or even the police but the legal profession. They will try to obfuscate and delay any review of the conviction (even if they come to acknowledge this this is inevitable), because a long-delayed review / quashing is just acceptable becvause memories fade, people move on, whereas a review / quashing very close to the original trial/s and conviction/s draws a lot of attention to appalling civilisational failings in the law courts / judiciary.

    Statistics should not be allowed in a criminal trial. There is a saying, "There are three types of lie:- lies, damned lies, and statistics." There was a book published a few decades ago called "How to Lie with Statistics." I didn't read it but the title says a lot. I have a statistical background up to Master of Science degree.

    • @HENNAtabasun1990
      @HENNAtabasun1990 2 дня назад +2

      @ionlyemergeafterdark that's exactly what they did with Lucy, statistics can only work with all the needed information. They chose to hide any part of the information that would have contradicted what they were accusing Lucy of their chosen scapegoat .

    • @marinka424
      @marinka424 2 дня назад

      Everyone should be taught the basics of stats at school so they are not fooled by politicians or advertisers trying to sell products. It wouldn’t take long. All they need to know about is averages being mean median or mode, representative sampling, standard deviation, correlation versus cause and effect, and statistical significance. This could easily be learnt in six months and would protect people from being fooled by the shift chart for instance. Statistics can be used to cynically manipulate the public, but they can also be used as a mathematical tool in a noble attempt to reach objective truth. In the wrong hands they are destructive but in the right hands they are a path to the truth. How do you manage to do any scientific experiments if you think ALL statistics is bad? Doesn’t it make a mockery of being a scientist.

    Personally speaking, i think in cases of circumstantial evidence, where we are dealing with probabilities and suppositions of what happened it is so wrong that this theory is the responsibility of one person ( no matter how well qualified)..... it should be a team of people of varying capability and experience ( with experience of all aspects of the job).... to give an account of what is most likely.... snd this should include detailing issues of kit recall, endotracheal tubing..... not simply by theory....
    Im so sorry for Lucy

    I have on Sept 7th 98 been described as "not Credible" by a tribunal concluding that i can time travel to engage a victim not present at the crime scene since 1992 - That was in 1998 and in 2024 the same justice system is holding an enquiry into 700 postmaster jailings when they were made aware of the process in 1998 and made a decision not to listen and to assist the offenders in their cover up. . Maybe i was credible after all but the evidence unpalatable until the victims reached 2700 and garnered the attendance of Toby Jones and Will Mellor - These statistics take time and take the liberty of innocent people of non occurring crimes Proclamation agenda based policing based on proximity and you are a bit stuffed if the alleged crimescene is your workplace,,,,,,,,,,, ask 700 jailed postmasters as Lucy is a victim of the same investigation process = lodge a complaint - get criminalised - Its a fit up for a failing hospital or a Fujitsu backhander. The parallels are obvious and intentional.

      I don't think the babies died by air embolism. That has been disproven by the fact that the red marks on the babies legs were moving position and were changing colour through out the different photos shown in court. The photos were more representative of a circulation problem. Also their were no specialists qualified in recognising air embolism in the case. It's all just speculation.

  • @DianaMaryM
    @DianaMaryM 2 дня назад

    In the case of Rolf Harris the police put out the message for people to come forward if they thought they'd been molested by him... There were substantial compensations for anybody who responded.... Hundreds of people came forward many of them claim to have been molested at the same time making it impossible for Ralph to be in both places at once. The police cherry picked the ones that were possible and used the most credible witnesses... When these adults got to the solicitors they would then send them to psychiatrists they knew believed in the repressed memory theory.
    then the psychiatrists would persuade them that things had happened... They'd also persuade them that maybe a touch on a shoulder or hand on a knee was in fact a sexual act.
    I listen to the defence speaking about the case.. he said that as soon as one case was disproved more would come along. He said that you literally couldn't keep up with it because there were hundreds of accusations all of which needed investigating.... Ralph Harris was released from prison then returned to prison when there were more accusations that were not disproved.
    Because he'd been accused and imprisoned before the narrative kept going...
    I imagine this tactic of finding more babies to accuse Lucy of murdering or, which I think is quite ridiculous, attempting to murder, they keep having to defend against the accusations.
    I wonder whether her best line of defence is attack. What the police and press did was a violation of human rights and on a par with rape. Showing photos of her bedroom teddy and personal diaries is intrusion of a high order. They might as well have stuck a picture in the papers of her strips naked.
    Imagine how many perverts looked at her cute bedroom with pink childish things in it and the bed covers pulled back with her teddy on it

      I feel anyone working in the public sector such as NHS, police etc should have to return their lump sum and all pension payments if they are found guilty of committing crimes whilst employed. That might make people take their professional responsibilities seriously when serving the public.Same applies to MPS.
      I worked as a nurse for nearly 30 years at ward /community level and I and most of my colleagues would never dream of bringing the profession into disrepute. I do know that if there were problems at this level senior management always pushed back instead of being dynamic and working collegiately. That is why most managers are useless. Also a ‘manager’ Eirian Powell said the chart with doctors names on duty during deaths had disappeared.This, to me, doesn’t sound as if the management are looking to make Lucy a scapegoat for their own failings, but more the doctors.

    Many Thanks ....... i heard Dewi Evans has doctors of God Sons ????
    .
    I wont say what a Dr Evans with a Swansea accent did to me and state he left me in 😞
    .
    I will say that he acted and reacted in pure mal-information !!!!
