I recommend watching the UPDATED version of this guide: ruclips.net/video/2GDpNm9gAT4/видео.html READ IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS: PROBLEM #1: If you cannot transfer Sellens soul to her new body, try returning to the church in Redmane castle and speak with Jerren there. Then go to the ruins where her real body is and see if you can speak with Jerren there, then go to Sellens new body and try to transfer the soul again. That will hopefully fix it! PROBLEM #2: If you transferred Sellen’s soul to new body but cannot find Jerren at Redmane or Witchbane, just go to where the summoning signs show up outside the grand library, they should be there! PROBLEM #3: It seems like people that haven't defeated Radahn are not getting the option to transfer Sellen's Soul to her new body. There will be other road blocks if you don't kill Radahn and the Full Moon Queen. So please do both of those, and then come back to this guide. If you are still having trouble then you can try killing Sellen and reviving her by doing the absolution ritual. That might fix it. EXTRA NOTE: This is essentially the same steps as the Azur armor set but you go to Azur's location instead of Lusat's location (you can get both) Also, heads up, in case it was not clear from the video: you must side with Sellen to get the armor sets. Siding with Jerren will make the armor set unobtainable. First clear Raya Lucaria Academy, thats where you will kill the Full Moon Queen. If you have killed her you can do everything up to 6:44. You will then need to kill Radahn to progress further.
I killed, Radahn, Rennalla, Mogh, Radagon, Margit, Ghost and still she just stammers and doesnt give me the key. tried to do the vows thing went back and she still only stammers and doesnt give me anything... so done with this dang quest...
***Important*** If you can't transfer her stone you need to talk to Jellen at Redmane Castle after you beat Radhan. Head back to Witchbane ruins (where you got the stone) and talk to Jellen he'll be there. Then head back to her at Rannis ruins and you'll be able to transfer the stone to her new body.
You forgot to mention that after finishing the quest and picking up Azur's Armour, You'll also be able to go pick up Lusat's Armour set from the Sellia Hideaway cave where he was.. I kinda found it out myself out of curiosity and it was actually there lol

If you accidentaly kill Sellen. go to church of vows and get absolution. you need a celetial dew for absolution. then all npcs you have killed will respawn in their respective locations. Like so everyone can see.
If Jerren isn’t at Redmane castle or the Ruins go straight to the Academy. The summons signs will be there. This is what happened to me after progressing really far in game.
@@nightcedargarden Idk man, it seems finicky given the many different times you can start a questline in the game. For me I met Sorceress Sellen earlier but only started the true quest once I met Azur late game. Just give it some trial an error I'm sure you'll get it 👉

Glad that it worked, it seems a fair number of people are getting stuck on the part where you need to transfer Sellen's soul so I am happy that this is at least working for the majority of people.
I spent like 2 hours trying to find that hermit village, thank you so much for clearing up that mystery! I got to the terminus grace, I'm kicking myself I didn't find the path lol
My first playthrough I defeated every special boss and did the frenzy ending, and I could still come back for all of this. The biggest thing is don’t kill Sellia, and otherwise it’s available anytime. If someone or something isn’t there continue through the steps until you reach a point where it’s caught up.
For any Tarnished who completed the game & missed this quest you dont have to start NG+ you can still do this quest although a few steps might diffir (compared to the steps here in the video) for example Jerren dissappears after exhausting his dialogue after you beat General Radahn so don't worry if you can't find him after you started this quest late pretty much you'll skip to the last part where you can be summoned to help Sellen & presto manifesto you get access to Azur's & Lusat's armor sets. Hopefully this helps.
A quick tip: if you can't put the primordial glintstone into the new body then go back to the redmane castle and before the plaza, there should be a boss mist, fight the misbegotten warrior and crucible knight, then go to the witchbane ruins, talk to the festival host annnnnnd only then go back to the new body on ranni's rise up, now you should be able to put the primordial glintstone into the body
He have his steps mixed up in this video, u suppose to talk to Jerry after receiving the primal glintstone then he will kill her which you then finally can put a new soul into her new body
And for those who do the quest after killing radhan you only need to go to the raya grand library and you will find the red and gold summon sign anyway

Look all I'm saying is there's a lot of details you left out I understand you need to make a video short and to-the-point but if you're going to do a job don't do it half-assed either do it right or don't do it at all
If any of you are stuck at getting her soul: after defeating rahdan, talk to that sorcerer witch whatever at waypoint ruins. It should give you the quest.
You can skip dying by getting the two halves of the medalion at Fort Haight and Fort Faroth, going north of the academy following the bridge, just at the north end of the bridge, a bit to the east you can find a horse superjump that will land you on top of the cliff and next to the bridge gate. Take the site of grace at the other side of the road and then follow the road, you may want to get into the forest to avoid enemies. Keep going avoiding the trebuchets, go upstairs, ignore the mounted bosses and go through the gate, it should be half open. There is a site of grace just right of the gate. Go to the circle between the statues and use the medalion, this will activate the Grand Lift of Dectus. Once you reach the top, go north, avoid the enemies and jump, there is a site of grace there. From here look north, you should see one of those statues that guide you to a dungeon. Head west and then south when the boss activates, just surround the lake and border the cliff until you reach a site of grace called Seethewater River. This leaves you right after fighting the abductors but without going through the academy, dying, going through hell and fighting two bosses.

Great video. but for under leveled players, getting the two keys to take the lift will be alot easier then fighting the two boss fight. It's a longer run at the end but it's alot safer and easier to do for low level characters.
after i got her soul i went to redmane castle and had to fight the two bosses but jerren wasnt there and i couldnt give her the new soul, but its because i had missed Jerren in the first area he was standing there with his back turned in the witchbane ruins, after i talked to him it fixed everything for me, i was able to give her the new soul

First thanks for the guide, second when I met Jerren in Witchbane ruins some enemies came in the basement and killed him his armor laid there I took it, then went to the academy and Sellen was there and thanked me the rest went like in the guide, again thanks.

I just confirmed you can't do the step starting at 6:40 into the video until you have killed Radahn. I hadn't killed him yet and she didn't have that dialogue option for me, I killed him and then she did, but I did everything up to that point successfully before killing Radahn.
Got Sellen’s soul into her new body, but couldn’t get Jerren to show up at either of his locations. Was able to summon him in fight with Sellen, chose yellow, and fought alongside Sellen against Jerren. Still, Jerren was nowhere to be found. What worked for me was traveling back to Azur and Lusat’s original locations. Neither was present, but instead in there places were little glowing purple loot flames (no sure what these are called). These gave me both armor sets. Was so relieved!
I think the new videos are better (the new sellen questline guide is basically an updated version of this guide) but I appreciate the kind words just the same!
If you kill jerren when you first meet him at the ruins you can go get Azurs stuff straight after. Only found this out because I killed him on accident then went to check anyways and they were there.. epic walkthrough. Definitely wouldn’t have got these items without it!
IF YOU CANNOT TRANPLANT SELLEN’S PRIMAL GLINTSTONE!!! Have your 2 conversations with Jerren, at the castle and the ruins FIRST!!! You should then be able to do it! 👍
Supernice detailed guide! One thing though, Sellen seemed to have dissapeared at the end of the questchain, She is no longer at the Waypoint Ruins Cellar, or at the Grand Academy Waypoint she was at when I assisted here. :(
She’s indeed at the Royal Grand Library, unfortunately for her she thought she could kill Rennala bet failed to realize she’s somewhat immortal 😅. So after you pass time or come back to library you’ll see this huge ball made up of mage heads to Rennala’s left and sadly that’s Sellen. You can speak to her and purchase spells if you haven’t already but she won’t say much.
Something weird happened for me, when I transfered Sellen to her new body and after that tried to talk to Jerren he was just gone and i had to fight 2 bosses before i was able to go to the church and he wasnt there anymore, going to the witchbane ruins after and her body lies there but its nto a corpse or anything and Jerren also isnt there
@@king-_-splashout4068 I'm not entirely sure to be honest, but if you pressed the wrong summon sign and finished the fight I would guess you've missed out on the quest. If you didn't finish the fight, there may be a chance the summon sign will reappear if you use a celestial dew at the church of vows? Not confident it'll work but I'd try it.
I love how the absolution act will still allow you to get the armor sets. I tried really late in the game to do Sellens quest line, but couldn’t do the part where you needed to retrieve the soul. It wasn’t possible with the trapped sorceress. So I killed her, thinking I couldn’t do the quest. But, after the vow, I did a modified version of the quest that allowed me to finish it. Completely surprised.
Man this is my second play through. First character I got about 50 levels gifted to me and I only beat my way to just the start of the snow area. I deleted my first room because I ruined the experience with the dups. This time I’m about a quarter through beat most bosses on my own but this machine killing you and sending you to Volcano manor is so dam trippy. So many things I didn’t pick up the first time.
I've killed radahn, and the Queen, looted sellen's primal glintstone and ready to deliver it to new corpse... However it won't interact with me to put the soul in? Figured I may have missed something back at the original spot for quest and it seems she's disappeared? Any idea how to continue quest
I figured I'd see if I could restart the quest line, got a celestial dew and repented my sins at rose Church. Went back to rannis rise and it allowed me to input the soul

It is actually possible to test whether a fall will kill you. When you swing your sword, your character lunges forward slightly. Swing your sword toward a cliff edge without moving forward. If your character stops moving forward, the fall will kill you. If your character goes over, you will survive the fall.
Bro I’m not getting the option to transfer the chicks soul…..I did everything u did …… Sellen is not even telling me to help her once more after finding that dude in the cave…

@@doubtfuldrawing this applies to any friendly NPC in the game, you can bring them back in case you hit them or kill them, it has nothing to do with the bells.
I did every step but after he told me he had unfinished business, I went back to her and she is still alive. So I went back to him and there was a bossfight before the room now and when I finished it, he is gone. Anyone got any idea?

That was some fine work..step by step..right to the end. And like that other player said 3 sets of armor and there is a big head by the shack. By the boss in the corner. Of the shack by the fire pot protected by the wizard. Than u find the wizard after the boss. That gives u a double gift 🎁. Now its time to beat the skin bosses. In the floating city.. than push to the end.
So love this vid. Great directions. I liked it and saved it to my Elden Ring folder. But the only issue I had was that when I was looking for the “hidden boulder” I think you should’ve stated that it’s a “face of the rock wall” and this is where it is. Other than that…great vid.
When I talk to stellen after getting stars of ruin, she would not give me the imprisoned body quest and instead just talk about lessons. What should I do?

If you can't transfer her stone you need to talk to Jellen at Redmane Castle after you beat Radhan. Head back to Witchbane ruins (where you got the stone) and talk to Jellen he'll be there. Then head back to her at Rannis ruins and you'll be able to transfer the stone to her new body.

There's also a different path you can take to get there by going through some cliff side ruins and fighting a salamander dragon boss inside a cave.

Same happened to me. Just go to Raya Lucaria Grand Library and summon Sorceress Sellen. You will be summoned to help her fight Jerren.
Every video I watch of places I've never been assures me it'll be a few years before I fully explore this entire game lol
Supernice detailed guide! One thing though, Sellen seemed to have dissapeared at the end of the questchain, She is no longer at the Waypoint Ruins Cellar, or at the Grand Academy Waypoint she was at when I assisted here. :(
She’s indeed at the Royal Grand Library, unfortunately for her she thought she could kill Rennala bet failed to realize she’s somewhat immortal 😅. So after you pass time or come back to library you’ll see this huge ball made up of mage heads to Rennala’s left and sadly that’s Sellen. You can speak to her and purchase spells if you haven’t already but she won’t say much.

Something weird happened for me, when I transfered Sellen to her new body and after that tried to talk to Jerren he was just gone and i had to fight 2 bosses before i was able to go to the church and he wasnt there anymore, going to the witchbane ruins after and her body lies there but its nto a corpse or anything and Jerren also isnt there
The summoning signs should be outside the grand library. I think other people have had the same experience

@@king-_-splashout4068 I'm not entirely sure to be honest, but if you pressed the wrong summon sign and finished the fight I would guess you've missed out on the quest. If you didn't finish the fight, there may be a chance the summon sign will reappear if you use a celestial dew at the church of vows? Not confident it'll work but I'd try it.

Not siding with Sellen makes it impossible to get the armor :( I killed her at the end and there seems to be no way to kill the Azur dude

The patch to azur's comet is so much easier than what you gave us here xD

I love how the absolution act will still allow you to get the armor sets. I tried really late in the game to do Sellens quest line, but couldn’t do the part where you needed to retrieve the soul. It wasn’t possible with the trapped sorceress. So I killed her, thinking I couldn’t do the quest. But, after the vow, I did a modified version of the quest that allowed me to finish it. Completely surprised.
Just so everyone knows; if you side with Jerren and kill Sellen, you cannot get this armor set or Lusat's armor.
What do you get if u side with jerren

Sad honestly that this is the case. I mean the armors look amazing. Maybe not the full set but the robes are insane.
Accidentally killed her halfway through the storyline and can’t revive her
Man this is my second play through. First character I got about 50 levels gifted to me and I only beat my way to just the start of the snow area. I deleted my first room because I ruined the experience with the dups. This time I’m about a quarter through beat most bosses on my own but this machine killing you and sending you to Volcano manor is so dam trippy. So many things I didn’t pick up the first time.

I've killed radahn, and the Queen, looted sellen's primal glintstone and ready to deliver it to new corpse... However it won't interact with me to put the soul in? Figured I may have missed something back at the original spot for quest and it seems she's disappeared? Any idea how to continue quest

I figured I'd see if I could restart the quest line, got a celestial dew and repented my sins at rose Church. Went back to rannis rise and it allowed me to input the soul

Well, the cat ring only prevents damage from falls that wont kill you, which sucks :(
It is actually possible to test whether a fall will kill you. When you swing your sword, your character lunges forward slightly. Swing your sword toward a cliff edge without moving forward. If your character stops moving forward, the fall will kill you. If your character goes over, you will survive the fall.

Go to the church of vows, and if you have the item ( Celestial Dew ) you can revive her and all of the other NPC you killed

@@doubtfuldrawing this applies to any friendly NPC in the game, you can bring them back in case you hit them or kill them, it has nothing to do with the bells.

I picked the ancient dragon sombering smithing stone and I didn't realize I missed out on 2 mage armors. I wish this video was out 2 months ago.
I did every step but after he told me he had unfinished business, I went back to her and she is still alive. So I went back to him and there was a bossfight before the room now and when I finished it, he is gone. Anyone got any idea?

@@BlackMage66 I figured my issue out I was going back to the wrong place. Don't go back to the place near Rammi's run, go back to the place where her body was shackled up.

You can actually just kill Jaren right in the cave...an enemy followed me and I one-shoted both by accident 💀
I literally just killed sellen because the archer came behind me and I accidently hit sellen

@@damg3820 go to church of vows and get absolution. you need a celetial dew for absolution. then all npcs you have killed will respawn in their respective locations.

That was some fine work..step by step..right to the end. And like that other player said 3 sets of armor and there is a big head by the shack. By the boss in the corner. Of the shack by the fire pot protected by the wizard. Than u find the wizard after the boss. That gives u a double gift 🎁. Now its time to beat the skin bosses. In the floating city.. than push to the end.

So love this vid. Great directions. I liked it and saved it to my Elden Ring folder. But the only issue I had was that when I was looking for the “hidden boulder” I think you should’ve stated that it’s a “face of the rock wall” and this is where it is. Other than that…great vid.
