I think the reason why Bratz is doing so many Collabs is cuz of the popularity of the Barbie Movie. People are more likely to buy Barbie dolls over Bratz rn so they're fighting to find a place in the industry so they went to makeup because Bratz is all about their fashion and looks
I’m glad that Colourpop is slowing down their releases. I used to get drawn into buying most of the collections and I was spending all my money lol but now they only get me if it’s a collaboration I like or if they release a new product that I want to try. The shadow sticks are incredible! I bought a few items from the Valentine’s Day collection (heart blushes and lip gloss) and I bought the full collection for Beauty and the Beast, Pokémon, and Frosty the Snowman along with some random products here and there and I like when they put items on sale so I’ll pick up some stuff that I wanted but not for the full price when they do their big 80% off sales

Great video! My favourite collab products this year were the lip masks: B&tB in the rose tub, the Pokeball tub, and no special tub for the Frosty lipmask but I love mint so I still rate it. Also enjoyed the Pokemon blushes (especially the purple) and the doe-foot heart-top liquid blushes. If they release more shades, I'm interested in trying the cheek and lip balm blushes but I already have blushes in all the shades in that range that I would wear. Big yes to your complaints with the glitter shadows. There are plenty of indie brands who do glittery shadows well, making them smooth to touch and non-irritating to wear. CP needs to take some lessons from them.
The glitter shades are my FAVE! I don't like metallic shadows because they shine but don't sparkle. I want true sparkle, and it's hard to get that without a true gritty glitter!
I am so happy that someone likes them! It feels like every creator hates them, but Colourpop keeps adding them to palettes. They hurt my eyes (I have sensitive eyelids), so I'm not a fan, but I see so much hate for them online! It's good to know that there's some regular folks who like them! 😊
I personally really like the new colourpop formula in their eyeshadow pallettes. The glitters are not the same as they were in the 2010s. Are they indie level? No. But they are affordable and easy to use.
I REALLY like the highlighter in the dropper. I used in on my face but I really enjoyed it on my chest and shoulders this summer. It's thicker than most so it really stayed. So I'm very, very excited about the new ones!!

I wish they would stop with the glitters and the terrible fallout, I don’t want glitter in my eyes, wish they could find a way of that not happening, i do use NYX glitter glue and still get the fallout so I just don’t buy them anymore which makes me sad, it they made them foiled or added foiled that would be lots better for us much more mature ladies. I think the only things I purchased from ColourPop this year are the black lipgloss and purple sparkly highlighter from the Twilight collab, one glitter gel, and a bunch of single shadows. I'm definitely interested in the multi-chrome creme gel liners, though. Those look fun!

I got my first colourpop palettes this year. I got the twilight and star wars palette really like them. I like the glittery ones in the twilight palette, i think i makes sense but mabye not in every palette. I would like to try more but international shipping is a killer .... I think ill be sticking with British brands in 2025.

I adored their So Juicy click sticks! Probably my favorite product they released this year. Panned two so far. My second favorite product from this year was the purple cream blush from the Pokemon collection. I'm cool toned and it looks amazing on me. It's also the only purple blush I could get in Australia. Absolutely agree about the multi chrome eyeliners. The blue one is my favorite. The crayon multi-chrome eyeshadows were very disappointing. They just look like faint, wet glitter on the lid. You don't get any of the base color and you don't get much color flipping. Probably their worst product I've tried. Although, I didn't like their pink wet gel glitter from the Valentine collection this year either. It dries down to look like crusty conjunctivitis. I don't know if it was just me, but I felt like their releases got closer and closer together towards the end of the year. I thought the spacing was better at the beginning of the year.
If this was last year I’d say your assessment would be a hot take but they have barely released anything compared to last year. The Twilight collection was the only one that excited me and I honestly think they released so-so items this year. I don’t think they released any Sol Body and Fourth Ray products to their brand lines either… if they did, I don’t remember 😅

Indies have even more sparkles than CP AND smoother formulas.) I only bought one new CP item this year (a liquid blush), which is crazy to me because I used to place at least one $30 order monthly. I am tempted by the new lip balms and liquid highlighters, though.
I still buy from CP, but nothing new. Favs: skincare (face mist, serums, retinol), lip oils, Super Shocks (Runyon, Amaze, and Ice Dream are staples), discontinued all matte eyeshadow quads (She's A Natural, Dare to Bare), metallic eyeliners (they stay in my waterline well w my eye/tear chemistry and come in so many colors), and brown felt tip eyeliner Grande (but not the black Numero Uno which gives fall out spots). Mid - I don't really buy their palettes anymore, but the newer glitter formula of that one pearlescent-smth shade in the Golden palette is much better than their previous formula and seems like it would be fine w glitter glue. I only swatched it, but liked the different reflects it had, and the scattered effect due to diff particle sizes. It would be better w non-plastic glitter, but then they couldn't keep their prices at drugstore lvl. Dislikes: CP multichromes (consistently weak in shift).

I stopped buying colourpop a few years ago, when they became that fast-fashion business model and when they started including so much glitter in their palettes. I don't buy/use plastic glitters (microplastics are so scary). While i agree they didn't launch a lot this year, thankfully, I'm so turned off by the brand that I'm not sure if I'd ever buy from them again.
I'm not following CP releases that much anymore but I noticed that they got back quite a lot of products that were always sold off. It's a smart move, as recurring buyers for basic products generates a lot of revenue and this overproducing of new releases for sure was damaging to their finances as people don't buy that much anymore.
I'm so tired of their chunky pressed glitters they use to fill their palettes! I bought the Frosty palette excited for the multichromes only to have them all be the cheap glitters...

I just don't want cartoons - stylized art/characters is fine - but cartoons don't interest me. I'm not a Disney adult. I'm over it with collabs and intellectual property.
