💈ASMR Philippines Garage Barber

I've had my eyes set on going to Baby Lakay's since 3 months ago. From the research that I made, the place seemed authentic, different, and the perfect destination to shoot a new video. True enough, going to this barber was starkingly different compared to all the other barbers that were in commercial areas. This shop is in the house of the owner, Nestea.
Nestea said that it was going to be a challenge to keep quiet during the shoot since he loves chatting it up with his customers. He came from another creative industry and started his barber business only during the pandemic. Nestea's shop was inspired by his grandfather "Baby Lakay" and he remembers how his grandfather's barbershop smelled of old aftershave. Since opening up, he has never looked back and is now filled with clients on a daily basis from the nearby houses and travelers.
He said his goal was to eventually put up his a shop outside of his house but not in a busy mall that. We both shared a love of ‪@HairCutHarry‬ and I told him how that youtube channel inspired me to start my own.
