For anyone interested in the numbers Brick 15 oz/12 pc=1.25 oz per cube, Bar 2.6/8=.325, Brick cube 1.25/4=.312 so 1 Brick cube is just under 4 Bar cubes. I used net weight on the packages for the equations. I did weigh the Brick and Bars outside of the package and got 15.5 on one brick and 15 on the other for ounces, the bars I weighed came up 2.6 on one and the other was 2.65
Thank you for this Lisa!! ❤️ I ordered a soap cutter from Amazon & it came today, works Perfectly and so much easier than a butter knife. I appreciate the tip! Keep making your awesome videos, I enjoy your channel more than you know.
OMG LISA THIS IS THE FIRST VID OF URS I WATCHED. THE VERY 1ST THING I NOTICED IS UR AMAZING WAX WALL!! IM SO ENVIOUS LOL!! I WISH I HAD A BIG SELECTION LIKE THAT TO PICK FROM!! I HAVEN'T BOUGHT A BRICK YET BUT DEFINITELY WILL BE THIS SEASON! MY BESTIE HAS HALF OF A BRICK STILL FROM LAST YR AND IT'S THE SAME ONE U HAVE!! SHE IS SENDING ME A COUPLE CUBES. IM DYING TO TRY IT!! IM DEFINITELY GETTING THE VANILLA CINNAMON 🍁 BECAUSE IM OBSESSED WITH ANYTHING VANILLA!!
I just stick a butter knife into it in the packaging. I cut in half for full size warmers. Usually 1/3 for a mini, unless I've already used 1/2 the cube, then do 1/4 just cutting final half in half.
@@corrinaflorent3819 same. That’s what I guess I consider 1 day lol from the time I get home from work til bed time lol it’s sad cuz I really enjoy it. If I put my nose in it I can still smell it but otherwise it fades pretty fast
Thank you so much for showing us with the soap cutter. I bought one and I feel it's SO much easier than the butter knife. Also showing how to cut into fourths! It's much easier than how I was doing it. Thanks again!! I LOVE marshmallow mint cocoa. Just wish it was stronger.
You can usually find the bench scraper at the dollar store they might not have a wooden handle but mine is a rounded handle. I can’t wait to get the 2 bricks I ordered crimson berry and the coco mint.
In some warmers it would be fine. But if your dish has a #3 on the bottom or is a saucer style then you would have a bit of a waxident on your hands. ;)
Also be careful with the mini warmers - Look at the size of the dish! I use 1/4 in my tea rose mini warmer, and it is almost is overflowing! I use 1/3 in my other mini warmers. Smiles, Abby Smith
I guess I'm way over the top OCD! I can't handle a jagged edge. I have to score it with a knife or pop it out and cut it from the bottom. I have to have smooth, clean edges! Shout out to all my crazy, OCD Scentsy friends!
Yes this! When Lisa took the bar out and broke off a cube I literally paused the video and I had to re-watch what I just saw. Anyone else break off a cube like that? I break off a cube when it’s still in the clamshell and then pop it out.
@@LisaRowberry I agree! Someone commented on one of your videos -- I think yesterday -- that it transforms when warmed. I definitely think it becomes a richer, more robust scent. Love, love LOVE!
I don't have Sentsy in my country. So I have never seen a real bar or brick. But I always wonder - the cubes seems to differ quite a bit in size within the brick or bar. The outer corner pieces looks really small compared to the middle pieces :)
If I don't start cutting my bricks right away, I will not use it. I still have bricks from last year. I tend to cut in half. I don't have a mini warmer running at this time.

I use a butter knife and cut in 3rds! I put 2/3 in a full size and a 1/3 in a mini.
Thank you for this, I was going to put one brick cube in my warmer for the up coming holiday wax.
I use a crinkle cutter that I purchased off Amazon for a few bucks. Works great.

Thanks Lisa! I picked up today the starry🎄 warmer in the re-release today! 👏👏👏
I love mint scents and marshmallow mint cocoa is really good but it’s like a 1 day warm for me and I use half a brick cube in each warmer.
Same except I’m only getting maybe 6 hours and it fizzles out

I use a knife. I cut them into 1/4’s for samples,. Depending on the size of my warmer I use a half or whole cube. Love the bricks!

Just cut my first brick! Black Raspberry Vanilla. Thanks Lisa

I want one of those! 🤩🤩
My first ever brick is on the way! This was helpful. Thanks, Lisa!!
My brick should come today! Perfect timing with this video! Ps I am not being disloyal. My consultant loves & shares your videos all the time. 🦋🦋
Fortunately I never have had to cut bricks because I had a deep dish, but this was helpful.
I cut the cube in 3 And it works just fine for me
Thank you! Very helpful. I just ordered my first brick and it is on its way!
Thanks
I use a stainless spatula. I usually do thirds or quarters. Thanks for the tip.
I got a brick for the first time and I was going to just put the brick in, you saved me lol

I score with a knife too along the ridges! 😬 lol.
@@kristamcgukin6246 I do this also. 😊
@@wuzupbuttercup same here, I like my clean edges 😊😁
Yep I have to score it also jagged edges drive me crazy!
I use a 3rd in full size and a 4th for the mini. Warming the salted caramel toffee right now and mu whole house smells amazing!!!
I use a crinkle cutter, but I see a soap cutter in my future for cutting slivers.
By the way, how do you like the Marshmallow Mint Cocoa??
Looooove!!!!! It’s sooo nice and even better warmed!!
@@LisaRowberry I agree! Someone commented on one of your videos -- I think yesterday -- that it transforms when warmed. I definitely think it becomes a richer, more robust scent. Love, love LOVE!
How did the marshmallow mint to smell? I just ordered mine and I am kinda excited to try it...
How do you clean your wall fan. I noticed my fan was dusty i was able to clean the bottom. How should I clean the dusty off the blades?
i cut mine in to 3rds with a crinkle cutter
I’m dying to get a brick
Love a brick!!! 😀
Based on weight a brick cube is 3x bigger than a bar cube.
Brick cube= 1.041 oz
Bar cube = .321 oz
I thought each brick cube was more like 1.25 oz each. 15 oz ÷ 12 cubes. But I could be completely wrong lol

@@AnnicaB I just averaged them out, I did not weigh out each cube.
I successfully cut up my brick today without making too much of a mess! I used a kitchen scraper.

Have you had any complaints about the Salted Caramel Toffee? Mine had almost no scent so I'm sending it back. I hope the replacement is ok.
Mine was fine. Some are staying it is CRAZY strong! Mine was no powerhouse but more of a medium scent throw.
Mine is on day 3 & I can smell it even not warming! I have 6 warmers, half cubes, I had to put it in my club!
I like it but my husband said he couldn’t smell it after a day or so.
I love to use whole brick cubes and the fragrance lasts forever!!
I don’t get bricks 😭 uk don’t get bricks so sad 😞
How much is the cost of the brick on this sale?
The bricks are $24 or 2 bricks for $40
@@LisaRowberry do you know anyone who has a advent calendar I can buy?
