Hey bud. Just dropped a zr1 cooling video to add on to what you did here. I'm recommending people watch your video too
Cool. I will check it out
Great setup
+Ben Darwesh thank you
TWA - do you still have the blockoff plate on the bumper? It seals off the bottom of the bumper and forces air to go though the grille/mouth opening up front.
The Z06/ZR1/GS have them - base models do not.
I upgraded to the Edelbrock HX as well - and was unsure if I should put it back in.
I'm referring to this piece highlighted in yellow:

bonecrrusherSS no it wouldn't fit with new heat exchanger
Nice setup! What are you running for fluid?
Water wetter. Distilled water. And dexcool
how are the IATs with this set up? I'm aiming for a 700 to 800 hp for my zr1. and hoping this set up works well and wont have to do the ice box. thanks
With 14% lower 2.35 upper it hits 150 on top of 4th gear run. Recovers to 105 in 30 seconds when you get out of it.
I know this is a old video but i was curious the expansion tank on the front left corner from the factory is that for the super charger or engine ? Also if its for the supercharger did your kong expansion tank still fit in there ?
It is the Kong expansion tank you are seeing
Where did you buy the hoses from ? and I have the kong outlets so can I run the 4 hoses down to stock exchanger ?
I think I put a link in video description. I guess you could run to stick intercooler
Hello, how much silicone line did you use? They sell by 5 foot. Thanks!
Probably bought 20 feet. Don't remember how much I used
What type of intercooler lines are those?
I don't remember. Started with an r if I remember right
Where did you get the "Y" connectors for the intercooler inlet hoses
chb2244 I found them online. It was a boat supplier
chb2244 can't remember the site though.
Alright if you think of it let me know because I just ordered the same setup and need y fittings
chb2244 google seachoice 3 way y fitting for 3/4"
lower right (drivers side) of the HX, what adapter and/or hose did you use to get it to bend nicely into the stock expansion tank.
I went to aftermarket tank
@@TWAMotorsports correct but you still have the stock expansion. But I figured it out I bought a gates 19768 because it has a factory bent in it that won't kink and cut in half then a 3/4 to 5/8 adapter with the stock hose to the top stock expansion tank. Thanks for the quick replies.
@@MrH00nel2 it's been a while since I did it but remember trying to keep kinks and bends out was a choir
@@TWAMotorsports a chore is an understatement lol I probably visited the auto stores 15 times this weekend and amazon prime next day to make this shit work. i eventually bought a lot of adapters and returned what i didn't use.
Yeah that's what I did.
The link for the Y fittings on Amazon is not working . Could u send another link so I can see what fittings I need to buy please , thanks
Don't think they are made anymore
Ok is it true that on the gates green belt it only comes in 12 rib so cuttin one rib is needed ?
Unfortunately
