I don't think he's doing it to capture more audience he just always liked the c6zr1 and finally was able to get one. I mean if I had the means to have one in addition to my ford's I sure would lol. They're badass cars.

A question for you: DO you have a telescoping magnet or a nut driving bit for your Milwaukee tools??? The nut driving bit has a magnet in it as well. A little piece of mind to have when "trying not to drop a bolt into the engine".

He narrowed that bypass to speed up air I’ll bet. Think about it in comparison from a large diameter water rose to small diameter increasing pressure. Thinking in bypass mode the faster air would make that blower hi faster/ harder. Just a guess.

I’m hoping you can help me out. That hose that connects to the firewall and runs to the snout in the very beginning of the video, what is that hose called? I’m needing to replace it and I can’t find a parts number. The connector in the firewall had the green plastic end

Are you raising the rev limiter? I don't know much about the stock bottom ends (forged or not) but i tll all of my customers porting blower and not spinning it faster is pointless
He's obviously going to pulley down and run a decent bit more boost. You don't necessarily have to Rev it further to spin the blower faster. Porting is a good thing regardless its going to be making more power more efficiently.
@@midnight347 porting a blower removes restriction that otherwise creates heat at a faster speed. Swapping a stock blower for one that is ported will have power is loss down low but makes up for it top end. Example I ported my blower (same tune just added 500 to limiter) picked up 2 tenths in my 60ft and 4 overall. Before the porting tires would break on the the edge and was consistent.
