Original oil painting on a 25 x 30 cm - 10 x 12 inch canvas by Dusan Malobabic Music by Aakash Gandhi Tracks: One Step Closer, Waterfall, Angels Dream, Heavenly, Kiss the Sky
I admire the knife strikes u use though-out ur paintings...what a delicate balance...I attempt to paint my skies with a myriad of colors since the sky isn’t just blue, and the sun an orange ball, but a mix of 🎨 pallets colors. My biggest problems is the angles of my rectangular and square objects...I find myself going over and over to get the angles correct. Thank you 😊 for the lesson...I do love using my palette knife!
Thanks John, I paint inside now days. I don't use any thinners or mediums so all I need is a fan to blow air in my direction and the doors / window open. That way regardless of the weather I can practise all the time, night or day. I used to paint outside all the time even at night and that become cumbersome when wearing lots of layers.
@@PaintingsbyDusan Thank you Dusan, I see just how beautifully they impose colors and nothing is mixed incorrectly. I'm constantly experimenting and I can not get the right density of paints.
I tend to use all sorts, I have a few go to knives and switch when I feel that it's not working for me. Regardless of the size of canvas I use the same size knives. I would first recommend finding which ones work for you, everyone is different. It's being used to a particular tool that let's have confidence to just get to work, rather than a particular shape or size.
Thanks Rob, I used to and would really love to get back to that routine again and be able to film it, but it's tricky. Plein air is the approach I keep in mind when I work.

Hola me encanta tu trabajo!!!!!!
¿cómo se llama el estilo que usas al pintar ?
Yo distingo una pincelada que te roba la atención.
Gracias. Realmente me gusta el impresionismo, así que tomo prestado de ese estilo / enfoque mucho.
Gracias por sus videos
As always great. Thank you Dusan,
unfortunately I do not go out and I have to practice a lot :(

Hi, Dusan amazing painting as always, what painting knife do you usually use and what would you recommend for a 12"x16" canvas?
I tend to use all sorts, I have a few go to knives and switch when I feel that it's not working for me. Regardless of the size of canvas I use the same size knives. Do you plein air paint also? Very inspiring artist btw.
